Alejandro Garnacho jets off to Rome with girlfriend as Saudis prepare to rescue outcast from Man Utd nightmare
ALEJANDRO GARNACHO has jetted out on holiday to escape his Manchester United nightmare. The Argentine forward's Old Trafford career appears over after being told to find a new club by boss Ruben Amorim. 6 6 6 6 Garnacho was left fuming after being benched for the Europa League final last month. He later angered his teammates after giving an interview where he described United's season as 's**t'. The 20-year-old cut a dejected figure on the Red Devils' disastrous post-season tour of Asia. Garnacho was spotted in an altercation with a fan, before flashing the middle finger to supporters after a loss to the ASEAN All Stars. The former Puskas Award winner has jetted out to Rome with girlfriend Eva Garcia for some much-needed R&R. Garcia posted a host of snaps of the pair enjoying the Italian capital with their young son Enzo. The influencer - who has her own jewellery line - uploaded the memories to her 664,000 Instagram followers. Eva posed infront of the Trevi Fountain, before enjoying coffee in the sun with her boyfriend of over four years. SunSport exclusively revealed last month United want £50million for Garnacho, who joined the club's youth ranks from Atletico Madrid in 2020. The 20-year-old has made Chelsea his No1 choice. Gary Neville names four Man Utd stars who must leave this summer Garnacho is also attracting attention from Napoli, but would prefer to stay in the Premier League. United rejected a £40m January bid from the Naples club for Garnacho but may get twice that from the Saudis. Pro League club Al-Nassr are preparing an audacious bid with Cristiano Ronaldo's future at the club uncertain. Garnacho's relationship with Amorim fell apart after a dressing room spat boiled over infront of teammates. Amorim reportedly told Garnacho he needs to "pray he can find a new club." United have since signed Matheus Cunha and are eyeing up Swede goal machine Viktor Gyokeres. Garnacho appeared in 36 Premier League games last season, contributing 6 goals and 3 assists. Following Europa League heartbreak against Tottenham, the Argentine refused to be drawn on his future at United. Garnacho said: "Until we reached the final, I played every round. "And I played 20 minutes today - I don't know. "I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next." 6

Alejandro Garnacho enjoys holiday in Rome after Asia tour nightmare... with Man United star's future at the club in doubt after spat with Ruben Amorim
Alejandro Garnacho didn't exactly have the season he will have been hoping for in 2024-25, and the Manchester United star has been quick to get away from it all in his summer off and enjoy some well-earned rest. The forward came into the campaign under Erik ten Hag as one of the squad's untouchables, having played a key role in their FA Cup win, and looked set to push on under the Dutchman. However, just last month he ended the season with at least one foot out the door after failing to break into Ruben Amorim's side, before social media proved to come back and bite him, leaving his position at Old Trafford seemingly untenable. Things went from bad to worse even after the debilitating Europa League final defeat by Tottenham as Garnacho appeared to push a fan in the streets when approached while on post-season tour in Malaysia. But now, with his future up in the air at Old Trafford, Garnacho and his partner Eva Garcia, as well as their young child, has sought some respite in the Italian capital on a short holiday. Garcia posted a number of pictures on her Instagram account of herself in Rome, as well as posing for selfies with Garnacho and a lovely picture of all three members of their young family. However the Argentina international will know that he faces a crucial summer in terms of his immediate future, but perhaps also his next 10 years in the game, with the wrong move - should he leave - potentially seeing him become another in the long line of players to fade away. He is undoubtedly one of the most promising young attackers, at least in the Premier League, and already has a Puskas Award to his name for a stunning bicycle kick against Everton, but seemingly has had issues with his temperament. Mail Sport previously revealed Garnacho was brutally warned by Ruben Amorim that he needs to 'pray' he can find a new club in a dressing room spat in front of the United squad. Tensions climaxed when Garnacho hit out at Amorim after being given less than 20 minutes off the bench in the Red Devils' Europa League final defeat by Tottenham last month. The youngster said in Bilbao: 'Until we reached the final, I played every round. And I played 20 minutes today - I don't know. I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next.' With Garnacho's departure all but confirmed in an official club statement, potential suitors are now circling to secure the 20-year-old's talents. Three Premier League clubs are said to be 'very keen' on Garnacho, who sees remaining in the English top flight a serious option, according to Fabrizio Romano. As for other European clubs, Bayer Leverkusen are understood to be interested, along with a host of Italian clubs.

Alejandro Garnacho is dropped ENTIRELY from Man United's squad for final game of the season - after his partner hinted it would be his 'last match' - following social media spat with Ruben Amorim
Alejandro Garnacho has been omitted from Manchester United 's squad for their final game of the season - just hours after his partner appeared to confirm his departure with a cryptic two-word message to fans on social media. The 20-year-old is set to depart Old Trafford this summer after being told he can leave by Ruben Amorim. The United boss is understood to have given Garnacho the news during a meeting at the club's Carrington training base on Saturday. The club have declined to comment. Garnacho's partner, Eva Garcia, has now added fuel to the fire ahead of the Red Devils' final match of the season against Aston Villa at Old Trafford. She posted a picture of a baby-sized United kit alongside the words 'last match', accompanied by a tearful emoji and a heart on Instagram. Garnacho appears to have played his last match for the club after he was left completely out of the squad for the visit of Unai Emery 's side It is unclear if Garnacho will be in the squad for the final game of the season against Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday or United's post-season tour of Malaysia and Hong Kong. The winger was unhappy to be left on the bench for more than 70 minutes of United's defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final on Wednesday night, and said he will weigh up his options. Garnacho's brother Roberto also accused Amorim of 'throwing him under the bus' in Bilbao. 'Obviously it's hard for everyone,' said Garnacho at the San Mames. 'Our season was s***. We didn't beat anyone in the league. We lacked a lot of things. When you don't score goals, you always need more. 'Until we reached the final, I played every round. And I played 20 minutes today – I don't know. I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next.' Garnacho's relationship with Amorim has remained tense, despite the winger forcing his way back into the side after being dropped for the Manchester derby in December - a punishment for showing dissent towards the head coach during a Europa League clash in Plzen just three days earlier. United turned down a January bid from Napoli for Garnacho, but are now prepared to listen to offers in the region of £60–70 million. A sale would represent pure profit under financial fair play rules, as the winger came through the club's academy system. On Saturday, Amorim was asked about the futures of Garnacho and captain Bruno Fernandes – who is considering a huge offer from Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia – ahead of the Villa game. He replied: 'I will speak with my players but the focus is the last game. I don't know what is going to happen. We have a plan. We were prepared for both situations, with Champions League and without. We have an idea type of squad we want, but we still have the last game. We have time to address all these situations. 'We have this game against Villa and we need to focus on that. It is not over. We want to finish in a good way in front of our supporters. Then, after, we will assess the squad. We know what we want to do. We will deal with that when the season is finished.' His agent brother also hit out at Amorim's team selection for the match in a post on social media. Reacting to his exclusion and Manchester United's defeat, Garnacho's brother and agent Roberto caused a stir by taking to social media to laugh at Amorim's decision to bench him. 'Working as no one else, helping every round, coming from two goals in the last two finals, just to be on the pitch for 19 mins and get thrown under the bus. [Wow] hahahahahaha,' he wrote on Instagram.
