Motherwell 0-6 Hearts: What the managers said

Motherwell manager Paul Brownlie: "I thought in the first 30 minutes we were absolutely magnificent, we played with a real purpose and created some unbelievable opportunities to a point where we could have been three or four up. "We need to take our opportunities at this level, if you don't you get punished. I'd have loved to have seen the players score to give them a wee bit of belief but now it's onto the next one."Hearts manager Eva Olid: "The first minutes were a little difficult, Motherwell are always difficult. "We couldn't find space in the final third but when we scored the first goal I felt the game changed and we could enjoy playing more. We kept the ball well and that is what we want to try to do."

Rangers return to second as SWPL title rivals Hibs and Glasgow City draw

Rangers overtook Glasgow City to move within three points of SWPL leaders Hibernian thanks to their 1-0 win over rivals 2-2 draw with City at Meadowbank earlier on Sunday kept Grant Scott's side at the top of the table with six points still to play for. Kimberley Smit opened the scoring in Edinburgh when she headed in from Hayley Lauder's corner but Eilidh Adams headed Hibs level from a McGovern got the hosts' second deep into first-half stoppage time but Nicole Kozlova levelled with her strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. Kirsty Howat scored the only goal in Rangers' derby victory at New Douglas Park. The striker capitalised on a mistake from Celtic captain Kelly Clark, latching onto the ball deep in the opposition half and racing forward to tap home despite pressure from Emma put six goals past Motherwell, who are yet to pick up a point after the league split. Kayla Jardine's opener five minutes before the break was added to by an own goal from Motherwell goalkeeper Emily Mutch. What to watch on SWPL Sunday

Decisive derbyIt's the final Edinburgh derby of the season on Sunday and the last chance for either Hearts or Hibs to take the final bragging rights of the season. Not only is it a massive match for title chasing Hibs, who risk slipping off the top of the SWPL if they don't win, but also for Hearts if they want any chance of challenging for a Champions League spot for next season. Hearts were winners last time out at Meadowbank and Eva Olid's side have actually won three out of the last four meetings between the sides in all competitions - including knocking their rivals out of the Scottish Cup in December. Expect all the drama at Oriam on Sunday. Big one at the bottomThere's another huge contest at the other end of the table as relegation-threatened Montrose host fellow strugglers Spartans. There's three points between the sides but goal difference favours Spartans so while a win for Craig Feroz's side won't move them out of the relegation zone, it'll put them in a much more favourable position going into the final three games of the season. Spartans have come out on top in all three meetings between the sides this season and have scored nine goals but the last time these two met, back in March, Jack Beesley's side had to come from two goals down to overcome at stake at Links Park on Sunday. How to follow on BBC Glasgow City's game against Celtic is live on the BBC Sport Scotland website and app when it kicks off at 13:00 BST. Later on, the Edinburgh derby between Hearts and Hibs will be shown on BBC Alba, as well as the Sport Scotland website, app and on iPlayer. That one kicks off at 16:10. There's also live text commentary of all of Sunday's games on the BBC Sport website and app.

Will Hibs rue Edinburgh derby defeat if they don't clinch the title?

"They'll be kicking themselves."The Behind the Goals podcast can only be talking about Hibernian's derby defeat to then-league leaders shot into an early lead against their city rivals, but Eva Olid's Hearts dug deep and dished out just Hibs' third loss of the it's one which has seen them slip to second on goal difference, given Glasgow City's 24-goal seven games still to play, Grant Scott's side are far from hitting the panic button, but could this be the result they rue the most if they fail in their pursuit of the SWPL title? That's the fear for Scotland captain Rachel Corsie, anyway."In some ways, Hibs have done exceptionally well this season; they've shown they can compete, very much deserve to be where they are," said Corsie on the Behind the Goals podcast."It just feels like every time you think they get a good result, put themselves in that sort of one foot up, they then just don't back it up, and I feel for them to lose against Hearts, that's a real disappointing result."If it gets to the end of the season, you look back and you think, where are the points lost that you would look at and say, 'wow, that now is really disappointing'."I do feel like that game will be one that's in there and not because I'm discrediting Hearts, and I know it's been a competitive fixture season, and both teams have a lot of positivity you can put on both of those clubs at the the defeat, co-host and Glasgow City assistant Leanne Crichton still thinks there's "a long way to go," with seven games still left to play in the league."It's a sore one, it absolutely is. They'll be kicking themselves, but there's still such a long way to go," added Crichton."To lose that game and still be effectively joint top of the table on points, the situation could be a lot worse than what it is."I don't think it will be overkill this week in terms of it being a negative response or Hibs being too disappointed because it's like us as well at the top, just now it feels like you've got an element of control over what can happen."I think every split fixture now, with the seven games remaining, you go back into Wednesday, there's going to be no surprise if we're sitting here next week after the Wednesday, Sunday fixtures, and the league table looks completely different again."
