The Licking Valley baseball team is playing for a state championship Saturday afternoon.

Evan Roberts pitched around a two-out walk for University. Brody Rodgers leads off with a single, but Panthers are unable to score.
Both pitchers cruise through the second.
Roberts with a 1-2-3 third. Rodgers draws a two-out walk but is left on base.
University gets a one-out single in the fourth, but the inning ends on an interference call.
Adam West singles and later scores on an error to give the Panthers the lead in the fourth.
Roberts continues to dominate from the mound. Rodgers reaches for the third time, but Brandt Lichtenauer's line drive to center field is caught to end the inning.

University with a runner at third and two outs. University runner is tagged out at home attempting to advance on an overthrow.
Zane Hancock with a one-out single but Valley does not add on.
