Isle of Man TT market gave small traders 'much-needed' boost

A new seaside market showcasing local food and drink during the Isle of Man TT provided a boost for small traders "that really need it", those involved have inaugural Mann Made Festival on from 23 May to 6 June on the site of the Bottleneck Car Park at the southern end of the Douglas Saunders of Event Management Solutions said despite some challenges with unsettled weather, the festival was "extremely well received by the public".He said he hoped the market, which featured food and drink stalls, a bar and live music performances, would return "bigger and better" in 2026. Car park becomes Isle of Man TT local food and drink market

Preparations for a seaside market showcasing local food and drink have led to the closure of a car park throughout the TT Bottleneck Car Park at the southern end of the Douglas Promenade was shut to parking on Tuesday, and ahead of the opening of the Mann Made Festival on Friday at 17:00 site was previously home to the Bushy's Beer Tent for 20 years, which moved to the Villa Marina gardens in Saunders of organisers Event Management Solutions said the market would show "TT visitors and locals alike just how great real Manx produce can be". Bushy's TT Village set to return to Villa Marina Gardens

The Bushy's TT Village is set to return to the Villa Marina in May, organisers have confirmed. The village, which has been running at the Villa Marina since 2017, will open at 17:00 BST on 29 May and run until 7 June. Having attracted about 90,000 revellers last year, with organisers expecting more people in 2025, the festival will feature 47 different acts, which are mostly local, during the period. Dave Wookey, one of the Directors of organising firm Key Bar Events said the village had an "unbeatable atmosphere". 'Keep things local' "We try to keep things quite local" including music and food stalls, he March, plans were put forward by Event Management Solutions for a marketplace on the Bottleneck Car Park during the 2025 TT Wookey said he thought it was positive as it would "bring more people into town" adding the competition "keeps us all on our toes".The TT Village would also feature independent retailers, local food vendors and a number of bars."We are really excited" about this year's event, he said, with the team having started preparations in October.
