Foo Fighters Make Major Announcement in the Wake of Dave Grohl's Cheating Scandal

has another confession to make: he and the Foo Fighters are back! On May 13, the rock legends announced their first show of 2025. The band—known for hits like "Everlong," "Times Like These," and Best Of You"—will play the Singapore Grand Prix, the Formula 1 racing event taking place from Oct. 3-5. The Foo Fighters will play Oct. 4. They join a packed lineup that includes fellow alternative icons Smashing Pumpkins, metal superstars Babymetal, '80s rock legends Crowded House, and Elton John. Unless the band plays another date before then, this will be the Foo Fighters' first show of the year, and the first since Dave went public with the news that he fathered a child out of wedlock. In September 2024, Dave revealed he'd recently welcomed "a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage" to longtime wife, Jordyn Blum. At the time of the announcement, his band had just wrapped up their Everything Or Nothing At All tour with their last proper gig on Aug. 18. Foo Fighters did play a private event at Anaheim's House of Blues on Sept. 6. Then, Dave made his announcement, and the band pulled out of the 2024 Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Conn. In his confession, Dave said he planned to be a "loving and supportive parent" to his new child while also working on regaining his family's trust and earning "their forgiveness." Dave and Jordyn have three daughters: Violet, 19, Harper, 16, and 10-year-old Ophelia. Following her father's shocking confession, Violet and Harper deactivated their social media accounts (though both have since revived them). Though the Foo Fighters haven't played since the drama, Dave has made a handful of public performances. In January, he reunited with the other surviving members of Nirvana to play FireAid, benefiting victims of the Los Angeles wildfires. St. Vincent, Joan Jett, Kim Gordon and Violet Grohl sang with the band. Dave also played with Post Malone on Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary show in February and teamed with the LA Philharmonic in April to perform two Foo Fighters songs.

Dave Grohl, Cynthia Erivo Join Gustavo Dudamel and LA Phil at Coachella

The Los Angeles Philharmonic led by conductor Gustavo Dudamel was in full swing on Saturday for the second weekend of Coachella after appearing last weekend. It was a star-studded affair, which included surprise performances by Dave Grohl and Cynthia Erivo. The Foo Fighters frontman hit the stage with his guitar and he delivered two of his band's songs, including the grittily sung 'The Sky Is a Neighborhood' and merged the classical with the classic on 'Everlong.' She began with the ballad that appeared from the lyrics to be 'Brick by Brick,' a track from her upcoming sophomore album, I Forgive You. 'Hello Coachella, nice to see you. Would you like a little Prince?' Erivo asked following 'Brick by Brick.' The crowd cheered. 'OK, Prince for you then.' She then launched into a rousing cover of 'Purple Rain' to close out the LA Phil set, as the fan footage below captured. Previously announced guest Natasha Bedingfield also performed, delivering 'Unwritten.' Other performers who appeared during the LA Phil's Coachella set last weekend returned on Saturday, including Laufey and Paco Amoroso and Ca7riel. The first weekend of Coachella featured a finale with LL Cool J, who dropped a medley that included 'Rock the Bells' and 'Mama Said Knock You Out.' The LA Phil sets the past two weekends marked the orchestra's Coachella debut. It's Dudamel's final season with LA Phil. Dave Grohl performs Foo Fighters songs at Coachella for first time since affair and baby drama

Dave Grohl is back in a Foo groove. The singer-guitarist delivered orchestral renditions of Foo Fighters faves 'Everlong' and 'The Sky Is a Neighborhood' at Coachella on Saturday. The surprise appearance — with Venezuelan maestro Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Outdoor Theatre of the Indio, California festival — was the first time the 56-year-old rocker returned to his Foo frontman role since the Post exclusively confirmed the mother of his love child's identity as Jennifer Young. The trio was also joined by Post Malone at SNL50: The Homecoming Concert in February. But Grohl hadn't performed any Foo Fighters songs live since making the shock announcement about his newborn out of wedlock. Advertisement 'I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,' Grohl wrote in an Instagram post in Sept. 2024. 'I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. 'I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,' continued Grohl, who has three other children with wife Jordyn Blum. 'We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.' In February, The Post broke the news that Young — a Florida-born rock 'n' roll fan who now resides in Los Angeles — was the mother of Grohl's new daughter. And records obtained by The Post showed that their nearly 9-month-old child — who Young is raising in a modest house with her own mother — has Grohl's last name. 5 Jennifer Young confirmed to The Post that she was the mother of Dave Grohl's love child in February. Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong Rocks ‘Brat' Hat at Coachella 2025 Amid Charli XCX Mini-Feud

Green Day and Charli XCX are playfully beefing at Coachella 2025. During the music festival's opening weekend in Indio, Calif., the pop star was spotted at an afterparty wearing a sash that read 'Miss Should Be Headliner' — a cheeky statement many on social media interpreted as a jab at the veteran rock band, who headlined the main stage just before her set on Saturday (April 12). On Saturday (April 19), during the trio's closing set on weekend two of the festival, Armstrong stepped onto the stage wearing a neon green baseball cap emblazoned with the word 'Brat,' a clear nod to the British singer-songwriter's 2024 studio album of the same name. To further play along, Green Day drummer Tré Cool was also spotted backstage rocking a handmade white sash that read 'Actual Headliner' while flashing a smirk as he held his hands up. On Sunday, Charli reacted to the moment on X: 'obsessed,' she commented on the photo. Despite the playful nature of the situation, Green Day's fanbase quickly took offense to Charli's 'Miss Should Be Headliner' jab and rallied to defend the punk icons on social media. During Coachella's opening weekend, Armstrong altered the lyrics to 'Jesus of Suburbia' to reference the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict. 'Runnin' away from pain like the kids from Palestine/ Tales from another broken home,' he sang, swapping out the original line, 'Runnin' away from pain when you've been victimized.' 'green day making a political statement about s— that actually matters > pop girlies singing about coke,' one fan wrote on X. Another user added, 'Charli xcx letting hype get to her head. Green Day used their Coachella headliner slot to speak up for good. They are still bigger than her.' During Green Day's weekend two set, Armstrong again altered the lyrics to 'Jesus of Suburbia,' this time taking aim at the vice president. 'Am I (stupid) or am I just overjoyed?' became 'Am I (stupid) or am I just J.D. Vance?' as he sang it to the crowd. Weekend two of Coachella wraps up Sunday (April 20) with performances by Post Malone, Travis Scott, Megan Thee Stallion, JENNIE, Zedd, Kraftwerk, and more.
