Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Launch Event Details Leaked: Here's When It Might Come
Last Updated: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been in the news over the last few weeks which suggests the leaked launch details could be accurate. Samsung has officially started the Galaxy Z Fold 7 teasers in the last few weeks, sharing small insights about the new foldable ahead of the big launch. And now more details have come out including the possible launch date for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 models in the market. We might also see the new Galaxy Watch 8 series and the Galaxy Buds 4 models announced on the same day which might not be too far going by the leaked report. Samsung seems to be bullish about its next-gen foldable as it looks to innovate and compete with other brands that have shown what is possible in the segment. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and other products could be unveiled at the next Galaxy Unpacked event which according to reliable tipster Evan Blass aka Evleaks could happen on July 9, 2025. The leak details do not tell us the venue for the big event but Samsung could once again have it in South Korea. The tipster does suggest the event could start at 10:00 AM EDT or 7:30 PM IST in India. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Unpacked Event In July: What We Expect The launch teaser for the new foldable suggests Samsung will be making a thinner variant, with Ultra-like flagship features, better cameras but in a portable form factor. Samsung is expected to make some big changes to the design and hardware setup of its next foldables and this teaser helps us get excited for the new products coming out. The company says it has managed to crack all these issues and deliver a product that has been refined to become more durable this year. 'The newest Galaxy Z series is the thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldable yet — meticulously crafted and built to last," this is what the official post says. Samsung realises that people want phones that tucks into pockets, can be used with one hand which means you need a thin and lightweight foldable. The company is also making wholesale changes to the camera setup on the new foldables that will get Galaxy AI features built into for a better experience. In addition to the foldables, we could see the new Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Pro and the Watch Ultra 2 announced. The brand might also show us a teaser of the rumoured tri-fold device that will go up against the Huawei Mate model. First Published: June 20, 2025, 10:15 IST

Samsung's Ultra foldable phone has an official release date, and it's really soon
If you've been waiting for Samsung to release its next bendy phones, your wait is almost over. Samsung is going to release its next folding phones in July 2025. This year, we're expecting an Ultra folding model for the first time, alongside regular refreshes in the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip line-up. The next Galaxy Unpacked event is happening on 9 July, which was previously leaked by Evleaks. The event's being held in-person in Brooklyn, New York for attendees. For anyone at home, they can tune into a livestream that goes live at 10am ET/3pm BST. Word is the new foldables will have upgraded cameras and some new AI software features. Samsung has also already confirmed the new devices will launch with One UI 8. Then there's the so-called Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, which Samsung seems to be increasingly hinting at. Recent official announcements promise 'industry-leading hardware, cutting-edge performance and seamless AI integration optimised for the foldable format'. Whatever that means. While we're yet to get official confirmation on the names, I'd put money on them being called the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. We may also finally get eyes on Samsung's long-rumoured tri-fold foldable, supposedly dubbed the Galaxy G Fold. It's been teased and rumoured for a while now, and this could finally be the year it trots onto the stage. Play And let's not forget the wrists. The Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic are also expected to make an appearance, which will be the perfect companion to the latest Galaxy smartphones. Although, the Watch Ultra 2 might be keeping a low profile until 2026. Based on past launches, pricing is likely to sit in high-end flagship territory – we're talking north of $1700/£1749 for the Fold 7, and closer to $999/£1049 for the Flip 7. Either way, we'll find out when Samsung's Unpacked event takes place on 9 July.

Samsung is launching an Ultra folding phone – and it could be arriving very soon
If you've been waiting for Samsung to release its next bendy phones, your wait might be over sooner than you think. This year, we're expecting an Ultra folding model for the first time, alongside regular refreshes in the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip line-up. A report from reliable leaker Evleaks points to 9 July as the date for the next Galaxy Unpacked launch. That's the event where we're expecting Samsung to show off the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Given last year's foldables got their debut on 10 July, this leak doesn't feel like much of a stretch. Apparently, things are due to kick off at 10am ET/3pm BST. This leak doesn't come with any new specs, sadly, but that hasn't stopped the rumour mill from grinding away. Word is the new foldables will have upgraded cameras and some new AI software features. Samsung has also already confirmed the new devices will launch with One UI 8. Then there's the so-called Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, which Samsung seems to be increasingly hinting at.
