Jordon Hudson is telling people that she and Bill Belichick are engaged (report)
The saga of Bill Belichick and girlfriend Jordon Hudson has taken another wild turn – reportedly towards marriage. The New York Times reports that Hudson has 'told at least one person that she and Mr. Belichick are engaged to be married.' This comes after weeks of rumors, hysteria and discourse about the well-publicized relationship between the 24-year-old Hudson and 73-year-old Belichick. Belichick, now the head coach at North Carolina, has been at the center of a media firestorm as Hudson grabs more and more headlines. The storyline reached a fever pitch recently when Hudson interrupted an interview with CBS to shut down a line of questioning about how they met. Things picked up further when Belichick was spotted in the front row of the Miss Maine USA pageant in which Hudson was a contestant. The report of an engagement is a surprising development given Belichick's relationship history. Belichick had been married to Debby Clarke Belichick from 1977 until their divorce in 2006. About a year later, Belichick began dating Linda Holliday. The former New England Patriots coach's relationship with Holliday lasted for 16 years. During that time, there had been no report of an engagement. The two reportedly split in 2023. It's been a little over a year since the relationship between Belichick and Hudson became public. During that time, Hudson has taken on a more public role and has appeared to serve as Belichick's de facto PR manager in recent months. Ex-Patriots LB puts out rap song for new team's schedule release video
Ex-Patriots LB puts out rap song for new team's schedule release video Wondering what the hype about? Come around and find out. — Arizona Cardinals (@AZCardinals) May 15, 2025 Former New England Patriots and current Arizona Cardinals linebacker Mack Wilson put out a rap song for the Cardinals in one of the more unique schedule release videos. Wilson played in three seasons for the Patriots from 2022-2023 after being traded from the Cleveland Browns. He recorded 73 combined tackles, five sacks, three forced fumbles, and four pass deflections in 34 games with New England. He signed a three-year contract with the Cardinals during the 2024 free agency. The Patriots themed their 2025 schedule release video around an egg-dropping competition between Christian Gonzalez, Demario Douglas, Robert Spillane and Marcus Jones. Arizona, on the other hand, decided to go the musical route with Wilson taking center stage. Wilson had one of his most productive seasons in years with the Cardinals, recording 75 tackles, five pass deflections, one interception and three sacks. It's clear he has talent as both an artist and an athlete. Wilson will not get an opportunity to face his former team this season, but the Cardinals' schedule release video will go down as one of the more memorable ones for the 2025 season. Ex-Patriots QB compares one part of Drake Maye's game to Patrick Mahomes
Ex-Patriots QB compares one part of Drake Maye's game to Patrick Mahomes Former New England Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe revealed one aspect of Drake Maye's game that he especially likes. Here's a hint: It's not when Maye stays in the pocket. Maye showed he was fleet of foot in his rookie season by recording 421 rushing yards and two touchdowns in 13 games. He averaged 7.8 yards per carry in the process. His rushing ability was on full display on multiple occasions, particularly in the Week 9 game against the Tennessee Titans, when he rushed for 95 yards. 'It's such a great weapon and something, quite honestly, I'm a little bit jealous of. It was not a big part of my game, obviously,' Bledsoe told Kay Adams on 'Up and Adams'. '… I'm not necessarily saying he should run more, but the ability to do that really changes him. You watch Pat Mahomes, it seems like every game, Pat would make one big play running the ball. Obviously, he's magic throwing the ball. It just always seemed like in crunch time he'd pull it down to run for that first down that was just a backbreaker, and I think Drake Maye has the ability to do that.' It will be fun seeing how returning offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels utilizes Maye's running abilities in the Patriots' offense. Granted, some of the runs were unscripted and a result of poor offensive line play. The Patriots addressed the offensive line in the offseason, which could pay major dividends for Maye in 2025. Ex-Patriots LB Matthew Judon breaks silence on failed run with Falcons
Ex-Patriots LB Matthew Judon breaks silence on failed run with Falcons Matthew Judon's run with the Atlanta Falcons was disappointing for both sides. Statistically, the four-time Pro Bowl edge rusher had his worst season in 2024 since his rookie year. He only mustered 5.5 sacks in 17 games played with the Falcons. That was a major drop-off in production compared to his final healthy seasons with the New England Patriots. He racked up 12.5 sacks in 2021 and 15.5 sacks in 2022, before tearing his biceps and missing most of the 2023 season. After failing to agree on terms for a contract extension, the Patriots traded Judon to the Falcons for a 2025 third-round draft pick. Judon was grateful for the opportunity in Atlanta, but he also seemed frustrated with the way he was utilized on defense. There were failed expectations met on both sides. 'Hell naw, (it wasn't bad luck),' Judon said in an interview with Card Player's Kyle Odegard. 'If you go look at the film, I dropped (into coverage) on 60 percent of the plays. It's hard to get a pick and a sack on the same play.' The Falcons never agreed to a long-term contract extension before they traded for Judon. So the 32-year-old defender is currently a free agent waiting for his next NFL opportunity. He's doubtful that a return to Atlanta is in the cards, but he did note that a "couple" of teams have shown interest. Whatever the case may be, he doesn't appear to be considering retirement at the moment. 'I think I can still [play],' Judon said. 'But that's not up to me. I'm not a GM making that decision. I just have to be ready if and when my name is called.' Follow Patriots Wire on Twitter and Facebook.

Ex-Patriots DT posts cryptic message after Ja'Whaun Bentley release
Ex-Patriots DT posts cryptic message after Ja'Whaun Bentley release New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Davon Godchaux posted a cryptic message on social media, following the New England Patriots' reported release of linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley. "It's no loyalty, and it never will be! As a player you always have to do what's best for you!!," Godchaux posted on X. Godchaux spent four seasons with the Patriots before being traded to the New Orleans Saints at the start of the new league year. Bentley, on the other hand, is a three-time team captain who has been with the team since 2018. He was one of the last remaining players from the Tom Brady Super Bowl era in New England. The team's decision to cut bait with him is surprising considering he's only 28 years old and one of the team's best defensive players. He was also recently cleared for the torn pec injury that ended his season early last year. The Patriots handed the personnel reins over to newly-hired head coach Mike Vrabel, and things have been a blur ever since. Multiple new additions have been made through agency, but the team has also made several tough decisions. In the last couple of weeks, they have parted ways with Bentley, David Andrews, Jonathan Jones and Deatrich Wise Jr. Everyone doesn't have to like it, but it's clearly a new era for the Patriots.
