That's 36 percent of the initial prize money. DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Ohio Lottery players in two different communities won quite a bit of money. A New Carlisle woman purchased a $2,000,000 Extreme Cash scratch-off ticket from the Speedway location in the 80 block of East National Road in Vandalia. Although the ticket price was just $20, she won the top prize of $80,000 a year for 25 years. The woman decided she wanted the cash option of $1 million, so she is receiving $720,000 after taxes. Someone purchased a 'Billion' scratch-off ticket for $50 from the Sunoco location in the 1200 block of Main Street in Hamilton. After scratching the ticket, the player realized they won $50,000 a year for 20 years. Since the player wanted to receive the cash option of $500,000, they will receive $360,000, after taxes.
