KUALA LUMPUR - Renowned Indonesian singer Andmesh Kamaleng is set to meet his fans in Sabah alongside popular Malaysian artistes Adira, Hael Husaini, and Ara Johari this upcoming Aug 9.
Set to take place at the Sabah International Convention Centre, the Festival Tentang Cinta (Festival About Love), which blends elements of love, music, and energetic performances, will also feature Mary Grace and Indonesian Idol Season 10 star, Ziva Magnolya.
"Adira, known for her powerful vocals, and Mary Grace, who has captured public attention in the entertainment world, will prove that Sabah's local talents remain relevant and are capable of competing at higher levels.
"Ziva rose to fame after securing third place in Indonesian Idol. Her stunning performance and vocal techniques, particularly her use of riffs and runs, made her one of the standout contestants of the season,' said the organiser, Extreme Visionary Venture, in a statement recently.
In the same statement, concert producer Datuk Suhaila Semaru said the festival-held in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia-is not just about entertainment but is also expected to make an impact on the state's tourism industry.
"Festival Tentang Cinta is an initiative born from the spirit of uniting love and music into one meaningful experience. We aim to make Sabah a dynamic entertainment destination while introducing local talents like Adira and Mary Grace to a wider audience.
"By combining artistic elements and the excellence of local performers, this festival will become a key attraction for tourists from various regions, including international visitors, and help open up new opportunities in Sabah's arts and entertainment industry,' she said.
