Samsung's hugely successful Galaxy A56 5G mid-ranger is up for grabs in the US at last
After reportedly striking gold at the European box-office, Samsung's best 2025 mid-range smartphone is today making its highly anticipated (by some) and long overdue (by all standards) US commercial debut. Unlocked, 128GB Storage, 8GB RAM, Exynos 1580 Processor, 6.7-Inch Super AMOLED Display with 2340 x 1080 Pixel Resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate Technology, IP67 Water and Dust Resistance, Android 15, 50 + 12 + 5MP Triple Rear-Facing Camera System, 12MP Single Front-Facing Camera, 5,000mAh Battery, 45W Charging Capabilities, Two Color Options Buy at Samsung Unlocked, 128GB Storage, 8GB RAM, Exynos 1580 Processor, 6.7-Inch Super AMOLED Display with 2340 x 1080 Pixel Resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate Technology, IP67 Water and Dust Resistance, Android 15, 50 + 12 + 5MP Triple Rear-Facing Camera System, 12MP Single Front-Facing Camera, 5,000mAh Battery, 45W Charging Capabilities, Awesome Graphite Color, $50 E-Gift Card Included Buy at BestBuy The 6.7-inch phone with a homebrewed Exynos 1580 processor under the hood and 8GB RAM can be purchased stateside for the time being only from Best Buy and its manufacturer's official regional e-store starting at $499.99. That's enough for an entry-level 128GB storage variant, with double the local digital hoarding room setting you back just 50 bucks more on Samsung's US website. Coated in "Awesome Graphite" and "Awesome Lightgray" colors (which, between you and me, are not the most eye-catching paint jobs possible for a Samsung phone nowadays), the Galaxy A56 5G clearly takes most of its cosmetic cues from last year's Galaxy A55 5G mid-ranger rather than this year's high-end Galaxy S25 family. Interestingly, the camera island at the back looks... unique, giving the budget-friendly device a somewhat unexpected air of distinction and elegance. Unfortunately, $499.99 is simply not a very competitive price point in a market where the OnePlus 13R exists and Google's Pixel 9 is so easy to come by at a hefty discount. As highlighted in our comprehensive Samsung Galaxy A56 5G review a little while back, this is by no means a bad product, but it's not an exceptional one either, shining as far as long-term software support goes while delivering solid battery life, respectable (at best) overall performance, excellent charging speeds (for once), as well as limited AI capabilities (at least for the time being), mediocre audio quality, and unimpressive camera performance. In short, you're looking at a decidedly mixed bag here that probably needs more than a $50 gift card to overshadow the aforementioned OnePlus 13R and Pixel 9 or even Samsung's own Galaxy S24 FE as far as bang for buck is concerned. There's never been a better time than right now to buy Samsung's Galaxy Tab S10 FE
If you were expecting some sort of miraculous new tablet announcement from Samsung at today's Unpacked event, I'm sad (but by no means surprised) to inform you that hasn't happened and at the same time excited to bring you news of the best Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ deals to date. Released just a few months ago, the brand's latest jumbo-sized Android mid-rangers are naturally unlikely to receive sequels anytime soon, which is only one of multiple reasons why you should consider a purchase at an unprecedented $70 discount right now. Wi-Fi Only, 256GB Storage, 12GB RAM, 13.1-Inch IPS LCD Screen with 2880 x 1800 Pixel Resolution and 90Hz Refresh Rate Technology, Samsung Exynos 1580 Processor, Android 15 with One UI 7, Galaxy AI, IP68 Water and Dust Resistance, 10,090mAh Battery, 45W Charging, 13MP Rear-Facing Camera, 12MP Front-Facing Camera, microSD Card Slot, Dual Speakers with AKG Technology, Three Color Options, US Version, 2-Year Warranty, S Pen Included, Amazon Prime Membership Required This offer is not available in your area. Both devices are sold by Amazon at the same 70 bucks under their list prices in both 128 and 256GB storage configurations and three color options (for each variant), the only (obvious) condition being an obligatory Prime membership. Of course, the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra Samsung most likely plans to release in the fall will offer much better specifications and fancier designs than their FE-branded cousins, but the price points will definitely reflect that. As things stand, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE Plus are without a doubt among the best Android tablets around, sharing a respectable Exynos 1580 processor, 90Hz display refresh rate technology, IP68 water and dust resistance, and perhaps most notably, built-in S Pen support. The battery life is not bad either, especially for two devices with razor-thin 6mm profiles, and the same goes for the 45W charging capabilities. Oh, and have I mentioned that Samsung is promising to maintain the software on the Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ up to date for no less than seven years (!!!) after their commercial debut? Now that's what I call future-proof Android devices... you'd be foolish to snub in favor of the costlier Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra or distant Tab S11. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! Samsung Galaxy A57 Leak Hints at Exynos 1680 Chipset, Launch Likely in 2026
Just months after the debut of the Samsung Galaxy A56, the first signs of its successor, likely to be called the Samsung Galaxy A57, have emerged through a new leak. While it's still early days and a launch is not anticipated before March 2026, tech insiders have already begun speculating about what the next-generation A-series device might bring to the table. According to a recent report from GalaxyClub, the upcoming Galaxy A57 is expected to be powered by Samsung's in-house Exynos 1680 chipset. The chip, which reportedly carries the model number S5E8865 and is internally codenamed "Terra", is currently undergoing testing. Built on AMD's architecture, the Exynos 1680 is also said to include the Xclipse 550 GPU, which is tipped to deliver superior performance over the Xclipse 540 GPU found in the Exynos 1580 powering the current Galaxy A56. However, while these early specifications sound promising, it's still too early to gauge what kind of real-world performance improvements the Exynos 1680 might deliver. Beyond this initial leak, there's little confirmed information available about the Galaxy A57, and we'll likely have to wait until next year to hear more concrete details about Samsung's next A-series offering. For now, Samsung's attention remains firmly on its existing mid-range flagship, the Galaxy A56, which is currently the top-tier device in the Galaxy A series. Ever since Samsung retired the A7x line, the A5x series has taken centre stage in the brand's mid-range lineup. In India, the Galaxy A56 is priced starting at Rs 38,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Additional models include 8GB + 256GB for Rs 41,999 and 12GB + 256GB for Rs 44,999. The device features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,200 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode. Protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, the phone is equipped with an Exynos 1580 processor, a 5,000mAh battery, and supports 45W fast wired charging. Camera-wise, it offers a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 12MP front shooter, available in Awesome Graphite and Awesome Olive colour options. As we await further updates on the Galaxy A57, Samsung fans can enjoy the A56's solid performance and premium features in the mid-range segment.

Samsung launches the Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G with 'Awesome Intelligence'
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Samsung is launching the Galaxy A56 5G for $500 later this year, packing an Exynos 1580 chipset. The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G will hit shelves this month for $400 and $300. All three phones will get "Awesome Intelligence," a suite of select AI features coming to the A-series. After a few hot weeks of leaks, Samsung is officially announcing the Galaxy A26 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A56 5G today, March 1. Notably, the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G will be available "later this year" at a $499.99 price point. Meanwhile, the just-announced Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G will be available starting March 26 and March 28, respectively. Aside from hardware upgrades, all three A-series phones are debuting with major software improvements. For starters, the Galaxy A26 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A56 5G will all ship with One UI 7, which is based on Android 15. From there, these phones will get six years of full OS upgrades, which is a first in Samsung's budget lineup. The company is also debuting what it calls "Awesome Intelligence," a pared-down version of Galaxy AI that includes the essentials — including features like Best Face on the Galaxy A56 5G, and enhanced Object Eraser and Circle to Search on all models. There's also a new "Filters" feature that mimics Apple's successful Photographic Styles tool, adding "custom filter creation by extracting colors and styles from existing photos for users to apply for a unique and personalized effect depending on mood and taste." Samsung didn't bring the Galaxy A55 5G to the U.S. last year, and the Galaxy A56 5G could receive the same fate. If it does arrive in the U.S., it'll immediately compete with the pricier OnePlus 13R and the rumored Google Pixel 9a at the $500 price point. With a 5,000mAh battery, an Exynos 1580 chipset, and 8GB of memory, the Galaxy A56 5G could give those other phones a run for their money. On the back, you get a triple-camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. The next step down in the A-series lineup is the Galaxy A36 5G, which nets you the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 mobile platform for the processor. That's paired with 6GB of memory and a 5,000mAh battery. In terms of cameras, you get a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro lens on the back. This phone is priced at $399.99 and comes in three colorways: Awesome Black, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome Lime (Best Buy exclusive). The cheapest A-series phone, not including the already-released Galaxy A16 5G, is the new Galaxy A26 5G. It costs $299.99, and it's only available in black. This smartphone has a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Samsung's refresh of the A-series lineup also brings some consistency to the Galaxy A26 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A56 5G. They all feature 5,000mAh batteries, 128GB of storage, and IP67 dust and water resistance. This year, the Galaxy A36 5G and the Galaxy A56 5G all have bigger screens. All three phones use a 6.7-inch AMOLED display panel with 120Hz refresh rate support. You can buy the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G starting later this month, and there's no timetable for the Galaxy A56 5G's availability yet.
