Troubled Lando Norris cuts a lonely figure on F1 stars and WAGs' movie premiere 'date night' without girlfriend Margarida Corceiro after crashing into his own team-mate

Lando Norris cut a slightly lonelier figure than his fellow Formula One stars, as most of the grid and their glamourous partners hit the red carpet in New York for the glitzy premiere of 'F1', the new film starring Brad Pitt. While many of the drivers and actors turned up at the A-list event in Times Square with their other halves for a mass date night, Norris flew solo without girlfriend Margarida Corceiro on his arm. Norris, 25, put on a brave face and appeared to enjoy the event regardless - despite his calamity at the Canadian Grand Prix at the weekend. The British driver crashed into his own team-mate, Oscar Piastri, on Sunday. The collision ended Norris's participation and plunged him 22 points back from Piastri, who went on to finish fourth. It was a massive blow to Norris, whose race craft under pressure is now the hottest topic in Formula One. He accepted full responsibility for the incident. Norris did his best to shake off the negativity swirling around him at the event on Monday night. Charles Leclerc and Alexandra Saint Mleux (left) and Liam Lawson and Hannah St. John (right) were among the many couples present at the premiere He was without the company of girlfriend Corceiro, a 22-year-old Portuguese actress and model with two million Instagram followers. Norris and Corceiro were first seen together in 2023 following her break-up with Chelsea star Joao Felix and she's attended a number of races to watch her boyfriend in action. Norris and Corceiro continued to attend events together throughout much of 2024 before reports claimed that the pair had ended their short-term relationship. Confirming the news ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix, Norris coolly stated on-stage amidst a packed crowd after being asked if he would like a dog: 'If I do I need a girlfriend, and I don't have one.' However, it appeared the pair have rekindled their romance after Corceiro was spotted by TV cameras during qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix in May. She was absent on Monday night from the premiere but at least Norris was not the only driver flying solo, with Lewis Hamilton also turning up unaccompanied. Pitt, Javier Bardem and Damson Idris all star in the new movie, which tells the story of an ex-F1 driver as he makes a comeback to partner new team mate Joshua Pearce at the fictional team. The real life drivers rubbed shoulders with the big names of the silver screen on Monday evening at a glamourous reception before the film was shown. Norris endured one of the worst weekends of his Formula One career so far Jenson Button poses with Brittny Ward at the reception for the F1 movie Red Bull team principal Christian Horner was pictured with wife Geri, who wore a white halterneck dress. Charles Leclerc donned a white suit and his girlfriend Alexandra Saint Mleux, a 22-year-old art history student from Italy, was on his arm. British youngster Ollie Bearman was pictured with girlfriend Alicia Stent-Torriani, while Estaban Ocon and partner Flavy Barla were also in attendance. Liam Lawson of New Zealand posed for snaps with Hannah St. John, while Gabriel Bortoleto of Brazil and Isabella Bernardini also enjoyed the reception at the top of the Rockefeller center. Norris' calamitous weekend was still a hot topic on Monday and his team principal Andrea Stella was asked on the red carpet about his incident. He said: 'This may have an impact in terms of his confidence. Brad Pitt is the star of the 'F1' movie and attended the premiere with girlfriend Ines de Ramon Toto Wolff posed for photos on the red carpet alongside daughter Rosa on Monday Lewis Hamilton shared a picture with Javier Bardem on Monday evening 'We will have conversations, and the conversations may even be tough, but there's no doubt over the support we give to Lando and over the fact that we will preserve our parity and equality in terms of how we go racing at McLaren between our two drivers. 'The situation would have been different if Lando did not take responsibility and apologise. Lando will have to show his character to overcome this kind of episode and make sure that he only takes the learnings to become a stronger driver.' Former world champion Nico Rosberg had warned on Sky Sports that it could start a negative cycle of thoughts for Norris now. He said: 'It becomes a little bit traumatic because you start spiralling negatively down and down, and you get this repetition of, 'I'm making mistakes, and I'm not good enough', and it starts to get to you in your head. 'It can get really dark, and I've been through this, especially when you make a mistake like Lando's where everybody can see it. You even hit your team-mate, so your whole team is thinking, 'What's going on?' It will be difficult for Lando to get back out of that.' Norris himself was more positive, saying: 'There are plenty more races left. I don't expect to catch Oscar easily. I have to work hard for it and make fewer mistakes than this weekend.'

EXCLUSIVE Brad Pitt's $40M private love nest he's been spending cozy nights with girlfriend Ines de Ramon

Brad Pitt was spending time away from Hollywood with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon before he hit Mexico for his F1 premiere on Monday. The Oscar-winning actor has driven up the California coast to settle into his stunning $40M love nest in Carmel, the town Clint Eastwood was once the mayor of. The timing is great: Brad has some weeks off after shooting his movie Heart Of The Beast in New Zealand and before he has to be in NYC on June 16 for the premiere of his next blockbuster, F1. 'Brad and Ines sightings in Carmel are regular,' a local tells 'They hit the fancy restaurants and shop at boutiques like Tancredi & Morgen just like all the locals. Brad has been seen with a hat and sunglasses on at Nielsen Brothers Market. 'No one hassles celebrities here because the locals don't like to make a fuss, they think approaching a celebrity is classless. So Brad and Ines get their space,' the insider added. The population is only around 3,000 people. There is also talk Pitt - who keeps a sports car at his Carmel home - will stop by the nearby Monterey Car Show in August as he is a car aficionado. In 2022, Pitt snapped up the historic D. L. James house known as 'Seaward' that overlooks California 's stunning central coast as images by photographer Alexander Vertikoff were taken. The A-List actor bought the 1918 century old house in celebrity haven Carmel, in what is believed to be the highest priced property ever to be sold in the area. Pitt is reportedly a big fan of Craftsman-style homes, which could be why he has purchased his latest pad. Known as the D.L. James House, the property was designed by 20th century architect Charles Sumner Greene. He designed the property on a piece of land owned by infamous author Daniel Lewis James, who wrote 'Famous All Over Town', naming the property on the Carmel highlands after him. It has been owned by Searock since 1999, a limited liability company tied to the late Chicago financier Joe Ritchie and his wife, Sharon Ritchie. Records show that Mr Ritchie died and the property was never publicly listed for sale. The luxury property, which is just meters from the beach, boasts a 'wooden aesthetic' and is built from locally quarried sandstone and granite. It has arched windows, with bricks 'individually chosen' by Charles Greene, and a tiled Mediterranean-style roof. The Gamble House, an organization dedicated to the work of Greene and Green, the firm put together by Mr Greene and his brother Henry, say that the property is unlike the siblings' homes in Pasadena. According to the organization's website, as part of the design Mr. Greene 'built up the outer walls so that they appear to be growing out of the cliffs.' Photographer Alexander Vertikoff snapped the exclusive pictures of the property in 1997. He told 'When I photographed it the whole thing had been uninhabited for quite some time. 'It has been in a perpetual state of being finished for 50 years, it was difficult to tell what all of the rooms are. 'It's not that big, and it's awfully private. They just don't make land like that anymore. 'Some of the views from the property most likely don't exist anymore, the grass and greenery would have all grown and you wouldn't be able to see the side of the house. 'You can't just walk in there. It's pretty amazing.' Famous faces who helped to put Carmel-by-the-Sea on the map Clint Eastwood became the town's mayor in a landslide election in 1986, with the iconic actor still residing in the area. Golden Girls actress Betty White also lived in the paradise in her $10.775m home until her death earlier this year. Legendary singer Doris Day, resided in Carmel until her death in 2019, in her yellow home which sits above Quail Golf Club's 18th green. She also purchased the iconic Cypress Inn and declared it as a 'dog friendly' hotel in the 1980s. Academy Award winner Joan Fontaine lived in the Highlands for the majority of her life in her beautiful Villa Fontana. Baritone singer Bing Crosby founded the Carmel Youth Centre while living in Pebble Beach, with his Cosby Clamback golf tournament evolving into the Pro-Am Golf Tournament. The home of Golden Girls actress Betty White recently sold for $10.775 million, well over its $7.95 million asking price in Carmel. Academy Award winner Joan Fontaine lived in the Highlands for the majority of her life in her beautiful Villa Fontana. This comes after Brad told the June issue of GQ magazine he said he felt 'warm and secure' with his love Ines. 'Mostly I feel pretty…. My life is fairly contained,' said Pitt. 'It feels pretty warm and secure with my friends, with my loves, with my fam, with my knowledge of who I am.' When asked by GQ if he made his red carpet debut with Ines at a Formula 1 race event to promote his new film, he said no. Pitt said it wasn't 'that calculated' and that life and relationships evolve naturally. He also expressed that he didn't see the attention from his personal life as a deliberate choice to separate from his work. 'No, dude, it's not that calculated,' Pitt laughed. 'If you're living, oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you're living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve.' Pitt did acknowledge his love life is 'always in the news.' 'It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way,' he told GQ. He now lives at his Los Angeles home with de Ramon. When the GQ writer asked if making F1 was 'a refuge from all the attention' he said, 'Um, I don't see it that way. 'It's been an annoyance I've had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do,' he said of fame. 'So, it's always been this kind of nagging time suck or waste of time, if you let it be that, I don't know. I don't know. He is divorced from Angelina Jolie. Pitt and Jolie, who share six children — Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, Knox, 16, and Vivienne, also 16 — married in 2014 after meeting on the set of Mr And Mrs Smith. Jolie filed for divorce in 2016. The interview comes after Daily Mail revealed Pitt is 'back in the arms' of new love de Ramon for a little work break. The Hollywood actor returned to his Los Angeles home in May, has learned. Pitt had been shooting his latest movie, the survival thriller Heart Of The Beast, in New Zealand for almost three months. 'Brad is happy to be back in Los Angeles with his lady, he is very in love with her,' the source shared. 'They are doing better than ever. The breakup rumors are not true at all. They are solid.' The couple, who went public with their relationship in November 2022, have marked their third year anniversary. Earlier reported that Pitt is in a good place with his love life. 'They are very much in love and happy to be in a healthy relationship,' the source said. 'Brad loves being with a woman who is not an actress because there is no competition at all, they have their own careers and there is zero jealousy.' Indeed, a relationship with a non-celebrity has marked a stark shift for Pitt whose previous partners have included A-list actresses Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie. Pitt is not Ramon's first famous boyfriend, either. She was previously married to The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley, but they divorced after five years in November. But now he has to head out again. The Oscar-winner will go on an international press tour for his race car movie F1. The New York City premiere for the drama is June 16 and the London premiere at Leicester Square is on June 23. By Heidi Parker Angelina Jolie turned 50-years-old on June 4, 2025.
