F1rst Wrestling announces its 4th Mall of America rotunda show
Popular Twin Cities wrestling promotion F1rst Wrestling is making its return to the Mall of America for the fourth consecutive year.
The company, owned and operated by veteran wrestler Arik Cannon, has announced its 4th "Saturday Night Nitro" will emanate from the Bloomington megamall's rotunda on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 9, at 10 a.m. Central.
The night before, F1rst Wrestling will hold its Fan Fest at The Fair on 4 from 6-9 p.m., giving fans a chance to meet the wrestlers "in a fun and laid-back setting, complete with axe throwing, indoor go-karts, great food, and craft cocktails."
Few details of the lineup have been announced at this time, with more likely to become clear once the next WrestlePalooza at First Avenue has happened.
F1rst Wrestling confirmed on Tuesday that its latest WrestlePalooza will take place on Sunday, June 22, with tickets on sale now here, via AXS.
The show at the MOA typically features well-known regulars from F1rst's many events in the Twin Cities and beyond, along with some special guests from the national independent wrestling circuit.
Last year's, for example, featured former WWE star Matt Cardona (aka Zach Ryder), who captured the WrestlePalooza championship at the MOA.
"We're thrilled to welcome F1RST Wrestling back to Mall of America for the fourth time," said Jill Renslow, Chief Business Development and Marketing at Mall of America.
"This has quickly become one of our biggest events of the year, and for good reason. The energy, the talent, the fans – it's electric! Our team takes pride in creating unforgettable experiences that resonate with diverse fan bases, and this weekend is a must for pro wrestling enthusiasts."
