Wood County officials searching for man considered ‘armed and dangerous' after crash
WOOD COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – The Wood County Sheriff's Office is currently searching near FM 778 and FM 49 in Hainsville for a man considered armed and dangerous.

A man officials believe to be Walter Hall allegedly led officers on a vehicle pursuit after he was reportedly caught breaking into a home. The sheriff's office said that Hall is on foot after he crashed his vehicle near the intersection of FM 778 and FM 49 in Hainsville.
Hall is described as a white man who was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a blue shirt and blue jeans.
Officials warned homeowners that Wood County deputies, the Mineola Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and K9 units are currently searching the area. Anyone not living in the area is asked to stay away while they search.
Anyone who has seen Hall or knows his location is asked to call the Wood County Sheriff's Office at 903-763-2201.
