The win did not come easily for Mexico, however, as the match was tied 1-1 in the 90th minute, when Mexico earned a penalty, which Jimenez cooly slotted home to earn Mexico the Cup victory. Switzerland, meanwhile, is 1-1-1 in its last three matches, most recently defeating Luxembourg 3-1 behind goals by Ruben Vargas, Breel Embolo, and Miro Muheim, with all three goals being scored in the first 30 minutes.
