In our weekly list of business people on the move, we highlight Palm Beach County professionals who are making a difference. These are people from across the spectrum of public and private endeavors, those working in charities, court houses, private practices and beyond. They are moving up within their industry, advancing their careers and standing out for their services within our community. Here are this week's professional standouts: The INNOVATE, Palm Beach's upcoming, reimagined cultural arts center, located in The Royal Poinciana Plaza in the Town of Palm Beach, has appointed seasoned philanthropy executive Victoria Peyton as chief philanthropic officer. Renowned for her decades of experience leading nonprofits in the Palm Beach region, Peyton and her team will oversee all fundraising efforts for The INNOVATE, including campaigns, designated naming opportunities, sponsorships, donations for future programming, membership, and charitable events. Dr. Kristi Wragg has joined Ferd & Gladys Alpert Jewish Family Service (Alpert JFS) as a board-certified adult psychiatrist. In her role, she will focus on supporting Alpert JFS's adult patient population. Specializing in mood disorders, psychosis, and trauma, Dr. Wragg is particularly passionate about working with survivors of domestic violence. Bella's Angels Inc. recently named Mordy Miltz and Kathy Blomqvist to their board of directors. Miltz is a veteran maritime professional and entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience in the industry operating The Miltz Maritime Team at United Yacht Sales. Blomqvist is a long-time volunteer who has chaired the group's annual Afternoon Tea fundraiser. She is the founder of Medical Review Service, which she started in 1981. Based in Wellington, Bella's Angels is a local grassroots organization whose mission is to financially assist local children who have life-long physical disabilities, beyond what insurance covers. Delray Beach human resource director Duane D'Andrea was recently elected as the 45th president of the Florida Public Employer Labor Relations Association. D'Andrea has been an active member of FPELRA since joining the city in 2015 and has been involved in labor relations both in the public and private sectors for most of his career. FPELRA was formed in 1974 to provide the highest standard of excellence in assisting and representing jurisdictions required to engage in collective bargaining under Florida Statute Chapter 447, The Public Employees Relations Act. Ken Treadwell, a retired attorney, has been elected as board president of CROS Ministries. Treadwell joined the Lake Worth Beach-based ministry's board of directors in 2018 and became vice president in 2020. After retiring in 2012, Treadwell volunteered at CROS Ministries to assist with its food pantry storage operations, eventually stepping in to become the lead volunteer. His leadership was instrumental in streamlining operations, leading to the consolidation of storage into two warehouse units, the purchase of trucks, and the hiring of a warehouse manager and additional staff. CROS Ministries works to increase access and availability of nutritious food for individuals and families facing food insecurity due to unemployment, low wages, disability, or insufficient social security benefits amid rising inflation. RE/MAX Select Group in Florida recently announced that Abe Himelstein has joined RE/MAX Select Group as director of growth/agent development. RE/MAX Select Group has 12 offices servicing South Florida, Vero Beach and Orlando. Over his career Himelstein has been with the RE/MAX organization for over 20 years and is a member of the Realtor Association of the Palm Beaches and a former director of the Florida Board of Realtors. Keller Swan Injury Attorneys in Jupiter is proud to announce the addition of seasoned trial attorney Juan Asconape to their team.
