Businessolver Introduces Stand-Alone Consumer Accounts Administration Platform to Bring more Financial Stability and Benefits Engagement to Market

DENVER, COLORADO, May 20, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Businessolver®, the market-leader in SaaS-based HR and benefits technology, announced at its annual Vision conference in May that it is launching MyChoice Accounts, its consumer-directed healthcare account platform, as a standalone solution, giving employers nationwide access to a modern, flexible technology for managing health and benefit accounts. Previously available exclusively to organizations using Businessolver's benefits administration solution, MyChoice Accounts offers an intuitive, mobile-friendly approach to manage key accounts such as HSAs, FSAs and HRAs alongside industry leading service and support. 'When we built our MyChoice Accounts solution five years ago leveraging industry experts with more than 225+ years of experience, it was to create an AI-driven, flexible solution that would grow with employers as consumer expectations changed,' said Rae Shanahan, Chief Strategy Officer. 'Finding a recently developed accounts technology in the space is hard to come by, meaning most employers are stuck with legacy options that do not have the flexibility to truly innovate. We are excited to bring a new technology and administration option to all employers, regardless of where they administer their benefits today.' Additionally, Businessolver is also excited to launch new features to its Health Savings Account experience that puts more savings power in employees' hands. Set to launch this summer, individuals with a MyChoice Accounts HSA will have a new option to set aside funds within a Spend, Save, Invest model. Alongside a modern lineup of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), MyChoice Accounts will introduce a "Save" category, allowing members to grow their savings through a money market account. This feature encourages members to set shorter-term financial goals with higher interest savings options, beyond the traditional investment options for retirement This innovation is in immediate response to the data from Businessolver's platform detailing that 48% of employees say they would feel panicked about an unexpected medical expense. Generationally, Gen Z and Millennials, who collectively make up over half of today's workforce, are the most panicked at 62% and 50% respectively. The new shorter term saving options support a differentiated financial savings strategy. 'Financial wellness is top of mind as we continue to innovate in the accounts spaces,' said Kent Rausch, Businessolver's Head of Product and the original designer of the MyChoice Accounts platform. 'Today, we are offering all of the usual suspects, like the tax-advantaged accounts, lifestyle offerings, and a truly innovative HSA; but tomorrow—the sky's the limit. Our platform can really handle financial wellness products that will support informed financial decisions for a healthier workplace.' MyChoice Accounts was originally launched in 2019 as an integrated product on the Benefitsolver® benefits administration platform and offers configurable and personalized consumer account administration options including Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs). Now, with nearly one million active accounts, and significant product growth, MyChoice Accounts is poised to serve clients who want streamlined and simplified accounts management, with or without benefits administration services. Supporting the MyChoice Accounts platform is Sofia™, Businessolver's virtual AI-powered benefits assistant that enhances member engagement by providing chat assistance, account balance retrieval, claims status updates, and more. Health-E Commerce® launches Collaboration with Healthcare Marketplace Sesame to Expand Access to Mental Health and Dermatology Care on FSA Store® and HSA Store®

The new collaboration reduces wait times for individuals who need care and delivers savings for millions of people who are enrolled in tax-free FSAs and HSAs DALLAS, May 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Health-E Commerce, the parent brand to FSA and HSA Store, the first and leading online stores that sell only products and telehealth services that are eligible for flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) use, announced today a new collaboration that makes virtual mental health and dermatology care from Sesame available on FSA Store and HSA Store. Sesame is the company that offers Americans quality, convenient health care at half the typical price, making it ideal for cash-pay patients and a great solution for those with FSAs or HSAs. The collaboration expands Health-E Commerce's footprint in guaranteed-eligible telehealth services, empowering consumers to invest their tax-free healthcare funds in personalized treatment for holistic mental health and dermatology needs. "It can take weeks or even months to get an appointment with a specialist, such as a dermatologist or mental health provider, due to continued healthcare provider shortages, but the growth in telehealth can alleviate this problem in many practice areas," said Keri Kaiser, chief revenue officer for Health-E Commerce. "Our new collaboration with Sesame delivers on our mission to give consumers as many options as possible to address their unique health needs in a timely, cost-effective manner." As a result of this collaboration, individuals and families who are enrolled in an FSA or HSA can access affordable treatment from thousands of licensed Sesame providers covering all 50 United States. Dermatology services include custom treatment plans and prescriptions for conditions such as acne, eczema, and rosacea, all starting at $59 a month. Mental health services provide unlimited messaging and video visits with a dedicated and qualified provider for only $79 a month. Most Sesame services are eligible to be used with FSA and HSA funds and allow individuals to skip lengthy prior authorization processes and even longer wait times that come with traditional, in-person care. This launch comes at a time when consumer demand for flexible, affordable care has never been higher. Sesame leverages classic marketplace dynamics to reshape healthcare delivery by requiring clinicians to compete on quality, accessibility and price. Virtual consultations lead to convenience and privacy for patients, allowing them to access care from anywhere, at any time. As most Americans continue to seek smarter and more affordable ways to manage their health and budgets, Sesame's easy-to-use platform removes barriers and expands possibilities for proactive management of individualized healthcare needs. "The marketplace effect of Sesame has very tangible benefits. Simply stated, when clinicians compete, patients win," said Michael DiLorenzo, Sesame's chief marketing officer. "By working with Health-E Commerce, Sesame is extending access to millions of individuals and families who are covered by FSAs and HSAs, and helping them put their tax-free health dollars to work in ways that matter most to them." Sesame has been ranked the #1 overall telehealth provider by Healthline five consecutive years and was named "Best for Doctor Choice" by Forbes (2023-2025). The platform has earned widespread recognition for its user-friendly interface, which allows patients to choose their providers, complete virtual visits, and access same-day prescription refills – all from the comfort of their home. India briefs 70 Foreign Service Attaches on Operation Sindoor; China, Turkiye not invited

Seventy Foreign Service Attaches (FSAs) were on Tuesday (May 13, 2025) given a detailed briefing by Lt. Gen. Rana, Director General Defence Intelligence Agency (DG DIA), on Operation Sindoor that has set 'new normals' in India-Pakistan relations, highlighting India's 'demonstrated strength and national resolve through military superiority in the new-age warfare.' Multiple official sources confirmed that the FSAs of China and Turkiye were not invited. Meanwhile, Pakistan Military announced that 11 personnel were killed and 78 others injured during confrontation with India. They include six Pakistan Army personnel and five Air Force personnel, including a Squadron Leader. 'The DG DIA elaborated on deliberate planning process for selection of targets with confirmed terror linkages. The integrated, precise and prompt response by the Indian armed forces to achieve the stated objectives, executed through intense multi-domain operations, was also highlighted,' the Headquarters, Integrated Defence Staff (IDS) said on social media 'X'. China and Turkiye had taken a very open stand critical of India during the entire period, so they were not invited for the military briefing, an official source in the know said. Also read | Pakistan used 400 drones, possibly from Turkiye: India Technological superiority Synergised force application through jointness and integration achieved in Operation Sindoor with demonstrated battle effectiveness of indigenous kinetic force multipliers was showcased to the FSAs, while highlighting technological superiority of the Indian armed forces in niche non-kinetic domains of space, cyber and electronic warfare, the post elaborated. Lt. Gen. Rana also mentioned the relentless anti-India misinformation campaign conducted by the adversary and its ramifications on regional peace and stability, the post stated. 'Modalities of our whole of nation approach which effectively and swiftly countered the false narrative was also highlighted.' Defence sources said the Indian Air Force (IAF) hitting Pakistani radar sites on the night of May 7-8 played a critical role in ensuring that their air defence networks remained stymied due to the hits or because Pakistan shut off its radars, anticipating more attacks and moved them farther away. Either way it limited the ability of its air defences which also barely managed to pose a threat as the IAF struck eight key airbases with long range precision guided munitions, a source added. Significant arsenal Pakistan has a significant arsenal of military equipment from China and Turkey and is also the biggest importer of Chinese military hardware. The Pakistan Air Force operates the Chinese J-10 and JF-17 fighter jets armed with the JF-15 Beyond Visual Range air-to-air missiles and also HQ-9 ground-based air defence systems which were employed during the recent conflict. The HQ-9 radar sites were among those hit by the Indian armed forces with loitering munitions and the air defence systems also failed to response effectively as loitering munitions and precisions guided munition hit air bases and military installations. Pakistan has extensively used Turkish Songar drones which can carry small weapons in waves after waves that were launched on India during the nights of May 7, 8 and 9 as well as the Byker YIHA III Kamikaze drones. There have been also reports and Open Source Intelligence tracking of cargo planes from Turkiye landing in Pakistan at the beginning of the hostilities, which, official sources said, were closely monitored. Addressing the country on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Operation Sindoor had carved out a 'new benchmark' in India's fight against terrorism and had set up a 'new parameter and new normal.' 'Secondly, India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail. India will strike precisely and decisively at the terrorist hideouts developing under the cover of nuclear blackmail,' he had stated.
