Jeremy Clarkson's girlfriend Lisa Hogan reveals why he hasn't proposed
Lisa Hogan, the girlfriend of Top Gear presenter turned farmer Jeremy Clarkson, has revealed the reason they still haven't married. The pair have been in a relationship for nine years, having officially become a couple in 2017 after an 'extended period of courting' from the Clarkson's Farm figurehead. Former actress and model Lisa, 51, now helps Jeremy, 65, run Diddly Squat, and appears on screen with him in all four seasons of the Amazon produced docu-series. In this time, she and Jeremy have weathered tragedy (including the devastating loss of a litter of piglets) and the fury of their neighbours in the Cotswolds, who've hit back against Jeremy's ever-expanding farm. With the series having recently returned for a fourth outing, Jeremy and Lisa have their hands full with his latest venture – his new pub, the Farmer's Dog. Amid the chaos, Lisa remains Jeremy's right-hand woman and resident farm shop boss. Although, after nine years, he still hasn't popped the question. In a new interview with the Daily Mail, Lisa speaks of the moment she met the journalist and TV presenter, at a party nine years ago. Jeremy, she revealed, was always on her radar. 'I used to let my son stay up to watch Top Gear, but I never really watched it myself. I knew him more from his writing. I always loved his columns,' said Lisa, who recently celebrated her 51st birthday. 'I thought he was bright – and probably amusing. And I think he thought I'd be amusing.' The piece hints that she's not truly 'bothered' that Jeremy hasn't yet proposed – revealing that they both seems content with 'being together 24/7' anyway, while their children get on well. Jeremy has three children from his previous marriage – daughters Emily and Katya, and son Finlo – as does she, in Elizabeth, Alice and Wolfe. Lisa previously addressed the issue of marriage when questioned by Fabulous Magazine earlier this year. 'Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you, I like Lisa Hogan. We decided not to have children together,' Belfast Live report her as saying. 'We're at a stage where we are not going to have kids. I'm just happy pootling along. I think because of our age, it's much easier. You go: 'God, is it you I end up with? OK, that's it.' 'But it's relaxing knowing you are not going to be with anybody else. It gives you a certain amount of liberation.' Prior to her relationship with Jeremy, Lisa was married to Madrid-based art collector Baron Steven Bentinck, with whom she shares her three children. After marrying in the 1990s, the couple split up in 2005 and finalised their divorce in 2011. Jeremy, meanwhile, had been married twice prior to meeting Lisa. He was first married to Alexandra James from 1989 to 1990, and then Frances Cain from 1993 to 2014. After meeting at a party hosted by friends, Jeremy and Lisa hit it off, and began dating after an extended courting period. 'It was quite a long courtship, as I didn't know where he was in his life. And I wasn't ready to start dating again; didn't want to go out with anyone,' she once told The Times. 'He had to court me for three months.' Lisa gave a cheeky insight into the reality of her relationship with Jeremy during a recent episode of Clarkson's Farm, joking about his sexual prowess as they welcomed a new pig to the farm. As new farmhand Harriet took the time to point out the female pigs' 'little clitoris' to her boss, Jeremy was taken aback. More Trending 'Pigs have clitorises?' Jeremy replied. 'I didn't know that this morning. There has been no morning in the last 63 years that I've known that.' Harriet later shared the exchange with Lisa, who joked that Jeremy 'can't find it either.' She then turned to Jeremy and asked: 'Do you not know what a clitoris looks like? Have you never found one? You've never seen one? It's the start of the vagina, love.' Love Island 'signs up' model who survived accident and life-threatening burns
Sophie Lee, who survived a devastating fire-breathing stunt that left her with life-altering injuries is now reportedly being lined up for the next series of Love Island A woman who once fought for her life after a devastating on-stage accident may now be stepping into the spotlight for a very different reason - to find love on Love Island. Sophie Lee, a Manchester-born dancer-turned-model, endured a life-altering ordeal in 2019 while performing in Chicago. Just 22 at the time, Sophie was performing a fire-breathing routine when a powerful air conditioning system blew a fireball back into her face and chest. 'The air-con was too strong so when I blew the fire out it blew back to me. It set me on fire,' Sophie told Fabulous Magazine. 'I just remember being in so much pain, I blacked out for a little bit. It's crazy. It happened in front of everyone and I had to get on with it as professionally and quickly as I could. As soon as I got into the ambulance, I was in bits." The injuries were catastrophic. Alone in the U.S., Sophie spent a month in intensive care, relying on machines to stay alive. 'That was a scary, scary time. I couldn't breathe by yourself, I couldn't eat, I couldn't really see, it was scary,' she said. 'I was pretty out of it but on day two I looked in the mirror and just cried." As she recovered, Sophie faced the emergence of a facial tumour resulting from the burns, which transformed her appearance permanently. But from that trauma came a rebirth - one that now has her put her in the run for reality TV fame. No longer the young woman clinging to life in a hospital bed, Sophie, now 29, has built a career in beauty and fashion, rising as a sought-after influencer and winner of the 2023 Beauty Awards' Influencer of the Year. She's collaborated with major brands, become an ambassador for the Katie Piper Foundation, and even authored a memoir titled In My Skin. Her remarkable comeback has reportedly drawn the attention of Love Island producers, who are currently assembling the cast for the upcoming season launching June 9. 'She's in the mix for this year's cast, with execs deciding soon if she will be in the original line-up or a bombshell,' said a show insider. Sophie is a gorgeous girl and a powerhouse of a woman who has overcome everything life has thrown at her. Just like Tasha Ghouri 's amazing time in the villa where she raised awareness for the hearing impaired, Love Island bosses are thrilled to give Sophie the same platform to discuss her accident and how she's become comfortable in her skin since.' Despite the show's reputation for superficiality, the insider said: 'Love Island has always tried to be about more than just looks and Sophie is a classic example of an Islander with real substance.' ITV hasn't confirmed the full cast yet, but anticipation is growing - the show's twelve previous seasons have generated a staggering two billion streams on ITVX. As for Sophie, her focus isn't on fame, but purpose. 'Life since the accident is definitely something I didn't expect because I just see myself as someone who went through something and thought my story could help others,' she has said. 'My aim was never to get awards or receive that type of attention. With the platform I have now, I feel like I have not only a responsibility to others but a responsibility to myself to be a better person everyday and to always be evolving." 'If people were to take a message from my story I'd say that beauty is always skin deep and your life is perfect just as it is,' she added. 'You just need to be yourself and accepting of life's roller coaster so love your perfectly imperfect life.'

Clarkson's Farm returned with its fourth season, with Jeremy Clarkson's other half, Lisa Hogan, taking the limelight. Lisa, 51, a Dublin-born ex-model, shares a significant 13-year age gap with Jeremy Clarkson. Speaking to Fabulous Magazine, Lisa disclosed her views on the future with Clarkson, affirming that walking down the aisle is not in their plans. The couple, who sparked their romance at a party in 2017 following an introduction by mates, live together at Diddly Squat Farm, reports Belfast Live. Regarding children, Lisa was quite clear: "Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you, I like Lisa Hogan. We decided not to have children together." Commenting on the peace and satisfaction they both share, Lisa said: "We're at a stage where we are not going to have kids. I'm just happy pootling along. I think because of our age, it's much easier." She also spoke of the consolation found in knowing they won't be looking for love elsewhere: "You go: 'God, is it you I end up with? OK, that's it.' "But it's relaxing knowing you are not going to be with anybody else. It gives you a certain amount of liberation." Who is Lisa Hogan's ex-husband? In her past, Lisa was married to Baron Steven Bentinck and they parted ways after 30 years in 2011. They had three children together and resided at Moyns Park, in Essex, during their marriage.
