Al Balooshi dominates drag racing
Meanwhile, in the bikes categories, Ali Hejair took first place amongst the Street Fight Bikes 9.5 competitors with a final run of 10.462s at 201.75kph. He beat Fadi Abu Jamous's 14.852s at 133.72kph. Musab Alismail came third. Abu Jamous took the win in the 8.5 Index Bikes class after clocking a winning time of 8.505s at 231.31kph in the final. Jihad Aljamal had to settle for the runner-up spot with an 8.407s run at 263.42kph, while Abdullah Alkhaldi was also on the podium.
Ali Bahram was the victor in the Pro Street Bikes category. He had a 5.184s run in the final at 221.27kph, beating Hamad Ahmed, who went for a 5.348s time at 228.74kph. Hattan Al Abbadi followed in third. Khalid Aldossary was then the top man in the Outlaw Bikes class, taking his win in 4.658s at 242.65. He defeated Khalifa Fouad in the final, with Fouad clocking a 5.391s run at 212.24kph. Mohammed Albanki joined them on the podium.
Following all the action, the winners were presented their trophies in the podium ceremonies.
The 2024/2025 Bahrain Drag Racing Championship is now headed for its season-finale, scheduled to take place 11 to 14 March.
