Sook Fire and Rescue station chief Faisal Ahmad said the woman was discovered by another plantation worker with firefighters at around 7.30am. The station received an emergency call on Thursday reporting that the woman had not returned after heading to her plantation by car at 6am. Her daughter, who made the call, said it was unusual for the woman not to return home by 5pm, prompting concern among the family and villagers. Search efforts began that night after her car was found, with the Fire and Rescue team launching an SAR operation alongside villagers, though she was only found the next morning. * Follow us on Instagram and join our Telegram and/or WhatsApp channel(s) for the latest news you don't want to miss. * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
