Amran marks Intel al-Quds Day with defiant support for Palestine, slams U.S., Israel enemy
Amran - Saba: Tens of thousands of Yemeni residents gathered across 65 squares in Amran province on Friday to commemorate International al-Quds Day, reaffirming their unwavering support for Palestine and condemning the continued occupation by Israel and the complicity of the United States. Led by Governor Dr. Faisal Juma'an and prominent local, military, and security figures, the participants chanted fervently against the crimes of the Zionist entity. They emphasized that Palestine is not merely a territorial issue, but a symbol of faith, identity, and dignity for all Arabs. Any failure to defend it, they declared, constitutes a betrayal of the nation's core principles. As the crowd raised slogans of jihad, they reaffirmed Yemen's unyielding support for the Palestinian resistance, asserting that al-Quds will forever remain at the heart of their struggle. The Yemeni people declared they would not retreat from their commitment to the liberation of Palestine, no matter the costs, and they drew a sharp line between those who stand with the resistance and those who normalize relations with Israeli enemy. 'The crimes of the Zionist entity cannot erase the Palestinian people's right to their land,' the participants declared. 'The resistance's right to respond to aggression by any means necessary will never be nullified. Attempts to legitimize the occupation will never succeed in the face of the will of the resistance.' The people of Amran also expressed pride in the actions of the Yemeni armed forces, who have targeted Israeli assets in retaliation for Zionist crimes against Gaza. These operations, they insisted, are a vital response to Israel's brutality and part of a broader strategy to resist foreign aggression. In addition to condemning Israeli occupation, the Yemeni masses vehemently rejected U.S. interference, specifically the recent American airstrikes on Sana'a and other Yemeni regions. They underscored that such attacks, aimed at intimidating the Yemeni people, only highlight the failure of the aggressors to achieve any meaningful victory. 'The targeting of civilians shows their desperation,' they stated. The marches in Amran reiterated that International al-Quds Day is not just a symbolic event, but a steadfast pledge to continue supporting Palestine through political, military, and popular means. Despite years of war, siege, and conspiracy, Yemen remains resolutely committed to confronting the Zionist-American project in the region. In a powerful statement, the participants condemned Arab regimes for their abandonment of the Palestinian cause and their silence in the face of Israel's war crimes. They demanded that free peoples worldwide rise to the occasion and break their complicity, underscoring that the struggle for Palestine is not only a Palestinian issue but one that requires global solidarity. The people of Amran also marked the tenth anniversary of National Steadfastness Day, thanking Allah for their perseverance in the face of the American-led coalition's aggression, which has inflicted unimaginable suffering on the Yemeni people. They vowed to continue their struggle, confident that their commitment to justice and resistance against the forces of oppression would eventually lead to victory. 'We have stood firm against the worst aggression because we refuse to submit to the U.S., Israel, and their regional proxies. We will continue our jihad against the forces of disbelief and hypocrisy until we achieve victory,' the statement concluded. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (Local)
