Morning of remembrance at 9th annual USMS fallen heroes honor run in Charlotte
CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Law enforcement officers from across multiple agencies came together on Tuesday morning to run for a powerful cause, the 9th Annual U.S. Marshal Service (USMS) Fallen Heroes Honor Run.
More than just a race, this 5K run was an opportunity to honor and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
This year, the run carried even more significance, as participants took a moment to reflect on the tragic loss of four law enforcement officers who died on April 29, 2024.
Their dedication to serving and protecting their communities is remembered deeply, and Tuesday's event was a heartfelt tribute to their courage and sacrifice.
