Fatal tractor crash near Aberdeen
SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO)– A person died in a single vehicle tractor crash Thursday afternoon, six miles southeast of Aberdeen.
The driver of the tractor was a 74-year-old man from Aberdeen. His name is being withheld, pending the notification of his family.
A news release from the Department of Safety says the driver of a Farmall Tractor with a belly mower was mowing a steep ditch on 138th Street when the tractor rolled. The driver died at the scene of the crash.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
