Raising money, awareness for suicide prevention in Luzerne County
SHAVERTOWN, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Luzerne County restaurant hit a high note Saturday night, raising money and awareness for suicide prevention.
Farmers Inn in Shavertown hosted its first-ever Karaoke for a Cause, supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP.)
Two week search for missing girl has tragic ending
A 10$ entry got visitors into karaoke and basket raffles, with all proceeds going directly to the AFSP.
Farmers Inn also made a separate $5,000 donation directly to the foundation.
