The clip features KJo covered with masked men around him. Later, he starts improvising the iconic character of Guddu Bhaiya from the series Mirzapur while saying 'Munna Bhaiya marr gaye aur tum darr gaye.. ' Later the teaser moves forward where Karan gives a slight idea about the theme of the show and about the contestants that will be joining the newly launched show. In the end shot, Karan implies that this game is all about betrayals (dhoka) and nothing else as he ends the video while saying 'Rise and Shine, its betrayal time.' Contestants To Feature In The Show According to Karan's small hint it is expected that The Rebel Kid aka Apurva Makhija will be featuring in the show along with social media influencer Uorfi Javed, hip-hop artist Raftaar and Raj Kunndra. As per rumours several other contestants may include actors and actresses like Jasmine Bhasin, Sudhanshu Pandey, Ashish Vidyarthi, Jannat Zubair and many other known faces. Meanwhile, no official confirmation has been shared by any of the celebrities till this date. The Traitors' Release Date The upcoming series will make its debut on Prime Video from June 12, 2024. Its British version is hosted by Claudia Winkleman while Hollywood actor Alan Cumming hosts the American version. The Traitors has more than 35 adaptations in over 30 countries that has also made it earned BAFTA and Emmy Awards.

Just imagine all the controversy makers you have heard about lately coming together under one roof to stir up even more controversy? Something similar will happen in a new show on Amazon Prime Video, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. On Friday, the makers of the show dropped a teaser giving a glimpse of what and who to expect in their adaptation of internationally acclaimed reality show The Traitors. According to the makers, The Traitors will be 'the ultimate game of trust, betrayal and deception where alliances will be fragile and no one will be what they seem.' The game will see about 20 players coming together to compete for the coveted title and a prize pot of up to Rs 1 crore. In the date announcement video, Karan Johar introduced a few players of the show. The filmmaker said, 'Munna Bhai died and you cried? Paatal Lok made you question Dharti Ke Log? Poor thing. And Farzi notes felt real? Just like your Farzi friends? You think you had your dose of betrayals? I only hope you can handle what's coming next.' He then went on to hint at the contestants who will be featured.
