Inside Gaza: ‘How do I face my grandchildren with nothing to eat?'
Just out of reach beyond militarised borders, Palestinians know there is food waiting to enter the Gaza Strip. But inside one of al-Mawasi's largest soup kitchens, there is nothing.
One grandmother, who has too many grandchildren to count, has to find a way to break the news to her family.
'My grandchildren are waiting for me outside the tent. They thought I was bringing food,' said Fatima Sweid, 70. She and her family have been displaced to al-Mawasi. 'How will I face my grandchildren with nothing to give them to eat?'
