The Kingdom was represented by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), which screens and prepares Saudi children in international scientific competitions and Olympiads. Saudi Arabia is among the non-European countries that have regularly participated in annual EGMO event, which started in 2012.
