Authorities clear area in Faulkner County after receiving tip of escaped inmate sighting
VIDEO: Arkansas Department of Corrections gives Wednesday afternoon update on Izard County escapee FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. – Faulkner County authorities said deputies assisted United States marshals and Department of Corrections personnel in a search on Wednesday following a tip of a reported sighting of an inmate who escaped from a north Arkansas prison. Arkansas Department of Corrections officials said authorities responded to Faulkner County on Wednesday after receiving a tip of a possible sighting of Grant Hardin. Measles, mumps and rubella vaccine clinic to be held in Conway
CONWAY, Ark. – The Arkansas Department of Health will be holding a measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine clinic in Conway next week. ADH officials said the clinic will be held at the Don Owen Sports Complex at 10 Lower Ridge Road on May 13 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Arkansas Department of Health releases potential measles exposure locations as cases grow Officials say the vaccine will be provided at no cost, but people are asked to bring their insurance card if they have one. Six cases of measles have been confirmed in Arkansas. ADH officials said the two most recent cases were identified in Faulkner County. Symptoms of measles include fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, and a rash that usually starts along the hair and face and spreads downward over the body.
