We meet Felix Conran and Emily Smith, an English couple who fell in love with rural Higashiyoshino, Nara Prefecture, and Daniel Zingani from the US who manages an eel shop in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture.
Felix and Emily moved to the village a year ago. They've been warmly welcomed by its inhabitants.
Using locally-grown wood, Felix collaborates with an artisan to create furniture.
