"So what's your focus? What are you up to?" she asked Ferne. The reality TV star said: "My sensible head is like 'no more babies,' but I don't feel done. "I've got my two girlies, [and] am I done? I don't know." Ferne, 34, revealed she was starting her own podcast called, Every Cloud, after ending her reality show last year so she could focus on "other passions." The TV star rose to fame on The Only Way Is Essex in 2013 and quit the show in 2016. Ferne is a mother to two daughters: Sunday, who was born in 2017 with her ex-boyfriend, Arthur Collins, and Finty, who was born in 2023 with her fiancé, Lorri Haines. Lorri also has a son with a former partner. She was recently mum-shamed after sharing a photo of feeding her 20-month old daughter to Instagram. In the picture, Finty is feeding while Ferne kissing her child lovingly on the top of her head as they sit on the sofa. 'In complete honesty, I've been a bit nervous to share about it lately. Even though I'm such a big advocate for breastfeeding, the truth is, I've been afraid of what people might think or say now that Finty is 20 months old.' 'I'm sharing this because if you're like me and still feeding, and you're feeling pressure to stop or wondering if it's 'not the norm' to breastfeed past one, I just want you to know…there are plenty of mums still doing it. Keep going, mamma,' she added. What is postnatal depression? Postnatal depression is a type of depression that affects parents after they have a baby. The major depression is triggered by childbirth but is much more severe than just the "baby blues". It can also occur following a miscarriage or stillbirth of a baby. Many women can feel emotional and anxious after the birth of their child, commonly referred to as the 'baby blues', this will only last for a few weeks after giving birth. If these symptoms start to last longer the NHS advises that you could be suffering with postnatal depression. The symptoms include but are not limited to: a persistent feeling of sadness, lack of enjoyment and loss of interest in the outside world, as well as your baby, and a lack of energy. These signs can build up gradually so a lot of people don't immediately identify that they have postnatal depression. A number of celebrity mums have opened up about suffering from postnatal depression following giving birth. Singer Adele has said that after the birth of her son Angelo she felt 'inadequate' and embarrassed to talk about how she was feeling. John Legend's wife and model Chrissy Teigen revealed she was diagnosed with postnatal depression in December after going into a downward spiral following the birth of her daughter Luna. Gwyneth Paltrow explained she was dogged by postnatal depression after son Moses was born in 2006. Loose Woman Stacey Solomon said she suffered from depression after the birth of her first son Zachary when she was just 18 years old. While her co-host Andrea McLean has also talked about the condition on the programme. Another famous face to talk about her experience is WAG Rebekah Vardy after she gave birth to son Finley with footballer husband Jamie Vardy. Kate Middleton visited Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience Institute at King's College London to discuss postpartum depression with experts. After speaking to scientists, the Duchess reflected on the day; although she has never explicitly claimed to have suffered with it, she said: "There's an expectation you're going to be super happy all the time, and one in four of us aren't." Melanie Hughes, former Miss Wales and Corrie actress tragically passed away in October 2017 due to her heavy drinking, linked to her post natal depression. While she was praised for her open and honest discussion about motherhood, with some calling her a 'rockstar' and others praising her for 'going at her child's pace'. However, others were quick to criticise her, stating her daughter was 'too old' to still be latched on. The NHS says the amount of time a baby is breastfed relies entirely on the it and the mother. It recommends exclusive breastfeeding (breast milk only) for around the first six months of a baby's life, at which point it is ideal to start introducing solid foods. "You and your baby can carry on enjoying the benefits of breastfeeding for as long as you like," the NHS recommends. "Breastfeeding into your baby's 2nd year or beyond, alongside other foods, is ideal."

TOWIE's Ferne McCann one of millions with popular online side hustle
Ferne McCann has been making money on Vinted for years after clearing her wardrobe of items that sold from as little as £4 Ferne McCann is among the millions who turn old clothes from their wardrobes into cash. The former TOWIE star has been actively selling items on Vinted from her designer collection, including dresses and shoes being sold for a fraction of their original retail price. Under the username @fernemccann, she has nearly 100 items listed on Vinted. Judging by Ferne's review history, the mum-of-two has been making extra money from this side gig since 2022 and has achieved an almost flawless five-star rating on the app. Ferne can be seen modelling some of the garments. The telly star has also posted photos of the clothes hanging from a door or lay across the floor. She's cleared out some items from her wardrobe including a grey jumper from H&M that fetched £6. Her most recent listing is a Day 6 Satin Maxi Dress that was snapped up for £35. In one listing, Ferne is sporting a brown, medium-sized Bershka dress that she's hoping to get £17 for. Some of her more expensive pieces include a small Karen Millen top with an £85 price tag, reports Essex Live. Ferne's priciest item is a pair of size six, black and white studded Valentino heels that are available for £180. An orange cord from Secret Sewing Rooms, priced at £45, was posted six months ago but has yet to find a buyer, as reported by What's the Jam. The 34-year-old has already managed to sell a grey Zara skirt for a fiver and make £4 from a yellow Pretty Little Thing bucket hat as well as another £4 from a white H&M top. However, not all sales were small change, with a pair of white Dr Marten boots fetching £69 and a pink Self Portrait dress, which she appeared to wear to the races, selling for £80. As well as her own wardrobe, the mum has cleared out some of her children's old clothes by selling on some of their designer gear from £18. These include a grey Kenzo baby romper and a red and white Burberry polo dress. Vinted has an estimated 100 million worldwide. Specifically in the UK, there are around 16 million users, the app reports. Ferne isn't the only celeb to sell items on the platform. Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague and TV personality Katie Price are among the famous faces that are known to have accounts on the app. So, how does Vinted work? Vinted is a platform that enables people to buy and sell pre-loved items online - typically clothing, but it also includes a range of other categories like homeware. It operates as a marketplace where sellers list items with photos and descriptions, and buyers browse and make purchases. Once an item is sold, the seller receives a prepaid shipping label and has a set time (usually 5 days) to post the item to the buyer. Vinted handles the payment, and once the buyer confirms receipt of the item, the funds are released to the seller's Vinted balance and they can then transfer this into a bank account. Ferne first shot to fame on TOWIE in 2013, before taking part in ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2015, alongside fellow reality stars Vicky Pattison and Spencer Matthews. In 2017, she launched her own reality series, First Time Mum, which documented her journey as a single mum. The show was later renamed 'My Family and Me' after the birth of her second child, but it ended after 13 series in 2024. During this period, the 34-year-old also participated in Celebrity Best Home Cook and won Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. Most recently, she competed in the 2025 series of Dancing on Ice, partnering with Brendyn Hatfield, but they were the second couple to be eliminated from the competition.

Ferne McCann reveals she felt ‘suicidal' after hitting rock bottom and reveals ‘savage' Towie fame left her in tears
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) FERNE McCann has revealed she felt "suicidal" after hitting rock bottom after finding fame on The Only Way Is Essex. The reality star, who shot to fame on the ITVBe show in 2013, said she was depressed and would often cry after filming. 4 Ferne McCann revealed she felt 'suicidal' after hitting rock bottom after Towie Credit: Instagram/fernemccann 4 The TV star said she was depressed and would often cry after filming Credit: Rex 4 Ferne said it took seven years of therapy to feel like herself again Credit: instagram Ferne, 34, admitted she would adopt a "b****y" persona on Towie in a bid to secure more airtime - saying "I wanted that fame". But behind-the-scene, Ferne was struggling with the demands and described the experience as "savage". "I was depressed on that show,' she says. 'I was showing up as this real bitchy character, when that wasn't me. I don't like confrontation. "I was pretending and getting amongst it to get the airtime because I wanted that fame... but I was so down. I would literally just cry. "It was savage. It was intense. It was really hard," " she said at a Trouble Club talk on Wednesday. Ferne sought help from the show's mental health team, who she claimed recommended antidepressants, instead of stepping back from the programme. She recalled: "'I remember speaking to the team and the psychiatrist said 'Have you thought about antidepressants?'. "Now, I'm not against them - there's a place for them - but for me, it was like, how is that the first thing?" She went on to say: "There was a position called cast liaison and I was like, 'These producers, there must have been a module,' because I didn't go to university or anything like that. I was like, 'there must have been a module where it was like the art of manipulation'. From cheeky topless snaps to Dua Lipa's beach break & luxury £3,600 a NIGHT villas - inside globe-trotting stars' super glam Easter getaways "Because I'd be like, 'I'm not doing it. I'm not going in that scene. I'm not saying that!' And they'd be like, 'but you're so good at it'. And they'd keep you in a room. It's not like that now on TOWIE." Ferne quit the show in 2016 after three years and becoming one of the most memorable cast members for her fiery rows, onscreen romance and epic fallouts with the likes of Gemma Collins. The TV star went on to have seven years of therapy after finding herself in a "dark place". She said: "I was very, very low and dealing with anxiety... and having suicidal thoughts at one stage in my life. "People had opinions on how I looked, how I spoke, how I behaved,' she said. 'It was like overnight success that I really struggled with. "That was when trolling really started. That was when I started to struggle with my mental health." Ferne admitted she had a mental breakdown - but said she "needed it". She added: "'[Therapy] was the best decision that I've ever ever ever made because now I feel like a changed person. I'm so different in the way I approach and handle tough times, good times." You're Not Alone EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide It doesn't discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers. It's the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes. And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women. Yet it's rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now. That is why The Sun launched the You're Not Alone campaign. The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives. Let's all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You're Not Alone. If you, or anyone you know, needs help dealing with mental health problems, the following organisations provide support: CALM, 0800 585 858 Heads Together, HUMEN Mind, 0300 123 3393 Papyrus, 0800 068 41 41 Samaritans, 116 123 Ferne is much more confident now and happier within herself after going on a "healing journey". Just last month, she shared a message promoting body acceptance and self love. Ferne told fans she has "sagging boobs and cellulite" in the candid offering. The stunning mum of two could be seen rocking an apple green two piece bikini as she frolicked in the sunshine. Ferne, who is currently on holiday with husband-to-be Lorri Haines and her kids, has been keeping her fans updated while enjoying a restful time. Sharing the video of herself basking in the sun, Ferne penned: "I'm grateful for my body and all that it does for me." In the video, she could be seen showing off her figure in the bathing suit before adding a colourful skirt and a pair of glam earrings. She then said in the caption: "My boobs are sagging & two different sizes. I have cellulite. My outfit isn't on trend. "My face is wonky. I have wrinkles round my eyes." But then Ferne flipped perspective and added: "My boobs provide comfort for my baby. My cellulite is just a sign of females body that moves and lives. Continuing her positive caption, she added: "No matter who we are, whatever our age, shape, or story we all seem to find faults in ourselves that wouldn't even exist for anyone else. "So why do we naturally lean toward the negative thought about ourselves? We get to choose how we speak to ourselves." Concluding the caption, Ferne wrote: "So let's choose self-kindness and self-empowerment." Ferne is a mother to two daughters: Sunday, who was born in 2017 with her ex-boyfriend, Arthur Collins, and Finty, who was born in 2023 with her fiancé, Lorri. Lorri also has a son with a former partner.
