What happens now the EuroMillions £208,000,000 maximum jackpot has been won?
One lucky person from Ireland has just won the massive £208,000,000 EuroMillions jackpot. The Irish National Lottery said it was the biggest ever EuroMillions jackpot, the equivalent of €250million and is the country's 18th winner. The Irish National Lottery chief executive Cian Murphy urged people to carefully check their EuroMillions tickets. He said: 'The details surrounding the winning ticket will be revealed over the coming days. 'With such a big win we have procedures to follow, but we will reveal the winning location as soon as we can.' The jackpot had been sat at £208,000,000 for two weeks after it reached its maximum size earlier this month. But what happens to the jackpot now that it has been claimed? We take a look below. Now that the £208million jackpot has been won, the prize draw reverts back to the minimum jackpot. This means that people entering the EuroMillions this Friday, June 20, could be in with a chance of winning a top prize of £14million (€17million). If nobody had won last night's draw, Friday's draw would become a 'Must Be Won' draw in which the prize money would move down a tier until at least one valid ticket could claim the winnings. Last night, three other people matched five numbers and one lucky star to win £6,287,001.20 each. There were 16 others who were lucky enough to match all five numbers but no lucky stars to win £16,119.10. Meanwhile 77 other people matched four main numbers and two lucky stars to win £1,043.20. In the past, many people have been made multimillionaires thanks to the National Lottery. This includes Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucestershire, who won £184 million in 2022. A new wardrobe and drawers for their bedroom were the first buys for the couple. More Trending While Colin and Chris Weir won £161 million in 2011, their luck was short-lived. Within a decade of winning the EuroMillions draw the couple, from Largs in North Ayrshire, divorced after 38 years of marriage. Colin died of sepsis and an acute kidney injury a few months later in December 2019, at the age of 71. The largest EuroMillions win ever was a person in Austria who scooped up€250 million (or about £209,000,000) on March 28, 2025. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more Anxiety and stress can creep up on anyone, and there are various ways to manage it; yoga and meditation, journaling, therapy, some may take medication, herbal remedies, use pulse point oil, or exercise. In recent years there has been an increase in people using fidget rings to calm their nervous hands, even Hailey Bieber, Gigi Hadid and Olivia Rodrigo have reportedly been spotted with the anxiety-reducing accessory. A fidget ring aims to keep the hands busy, instead of chewing your fingernails, picking at the skin, your hair, but in a subtle way. Abbott Lyon has created a stylish accessory that will help to soothe the mind and body, but also look great on your fingers too. Crafted from stainless steel, and plated in 18k gold if you opt for the gold version, for a sturdy and stylish design. The chunky ring appears like two rings, and the inner ring rotates to help alleviate anxiety. The inner band can be personalised with up to six characters, symbols or precious in gold, silver, or a hybrid of both, it also comes in four sizes. BUY NOW FOR £79 The Abbott Lyon Fidget Ring is part of Olivia Attwood's collection with the jewellery brand, and this partnership is fitting as Olivia has been open about her battle with ADHD and anxiety. The Fidget Ring looks like two rings in one as the main band measures 7mm while the second band layered on top, which rotates, is 4mm. Whether you select the gold, silver, or hybrid of both, the ring boasts a durable stainless steel base, which is then plated in 18k gold – if you opt for the gold version, of course. It has been made from 60% recycled materials, which is a more eco-conscious option than other rings. It is water, sweat and heat resistant, which means you don't have to take it off in the sun or to wash. The best part is it is tarnish-free, thanks to the anti-tarnish protective coating, which is an essential in our jewellery style book. Now you may have guessed by the name this ring can be personalised, which is another huge selling point in our opinion for those that want a sentimental touch to the design, especially if it is a gift. The rotating wheel of the ring can be personalised with up to six letters, symbols or birthstones. Even if this ring is only a gift to yourself, having a name or symbol may also help to alleviate your mind when things get overwhelming, so we think this is a clever touch. The ring is available in four sizes, and you can get assistance online to help find the perfect fit. More Trending There is another bonus. Abbott Lyon is offering customers a two-year warrant on your purchase. However, we doubt you'll need it after reading customers' reviews. Lauren simply put it: 'Top quality, amazing product.' A separate shopper, Dan, wrote: 'This was the item I came looking for, my wife has seen fidget rings before, picked up and tried some on at various jewellery craft markets. She liked them, but they were never quite what she was looking for – this one from Abbott Lyon is spot on, clean lines, modern aesthetic and the fidget rotation/movement is smooth. The stamps and personalisation MAKE this item. Choose the stamps carefully and you can make a cute message or meaning with the symbols available. Was a birthday present for my wife, she has worn it everyday since.' While Donna shared: 'My daughter suffers from anxiety, this is so perfect and not too flashy even her school has allowed her to wear it.'
