U.S. President Donald Trump got upset with French President Emmanuel Macron and left the G7 summit early. He also didn't want to meet Ukraine's President Zelenskyy. This caused some tension during the important meetings about NATO defense spending , as stated in the reports by Financial and some other NATO countries don't want to promise this big spending increase. NATO wants countries to spend 3.5% on core military and 1.5% on related security areas like roads and cyber security by 2030.
