Hend Sabry to Star in "Dam ala Nahd" TV Adaptation
Yara Sameh Tunisian actress Hend Sabry is attached to star in the upcoming TV adaptation of writer and journalist Ibrahim Eissa's latest novel 'Dam ala Nahd." Mariam Ahmadi is directing the series from a script being adapted by Mohamed Hesham Obeya. "Dam ala Nahd" consists of 15 episodes and is produced by Sadek Al-Sabah. The novel follows Mai El Gebali, who had no idea that her exclusive interview with the "butcher" before his execution would turn her life upside down. With each meeting with the "butcher", he reveals secrets he never confessed before during the investigations. Along the way, El Gebali begins to question everything she'd previously believed in, disrupts her relationships, and puts her life in danger. Sabry made her last appearance on the small screen in the second season of her hit Netflix TV series "Finding Ola". The cast features returing main cast Sawan Badr, Nada Mousa, Mahmoud El Leithy, Yasmina El-Abd, and more. It also reunited Sabry and Dhafer L'Abidine for the third time after working together in 2017's "Halawet El Donia" and 2012's "Vertigo". The series is written by Maha El Wazir and Ghada Abd El Aal and influenced by the main characters of the popular 2010 hit TV series 'Ayza Atgawez' (I Want to Get Married), which Abd El Aal wrote. Released by Netflix in February 2022, " Finding Ola " featured Sabry as a middle-class, Cairo pharmacist desperate to get married before she turns 30. The six-episode series saw the return of beloved character Ola Abdelsabour (Played by Sabry) after ten years as she navigates life's many challenges while trying to find the balance between her role as a mother, wife, and entrepreneur. In season 2, Abdelsabour returned on a new adventure with her family, as she finds herself forced to work with Karim, the son of her company's product supplier. Here's Our First Look at "80 Bako"
Yara Sameh The first look at Egyptian actress Huda El Mufti's upcoming TV series "80 Bako" has been unveiled. The cast also stars Enaam Salosa, Rahma Ahmed Farag, Mohamed Lotfy, Donia Sami, and more. The drama marks El Mufti's first lead TV role and hails from director Kawthar Younis ("Maqsoom"). Younis directs the series from a script by the scribe of the Netflix TV series "Finding Ola", Ghada Abdel Aal. It consists of 15 episodes and is produced by E-producers Productions. "80 Bako" is set to screen on the MBC Group during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon. The series marks El Mufti's comeback to the drama marathon after two years of absence. She made her last participation in the 2023 TV series "El Sandok" (The Box). El Mufti, born on December 4, 1994, started her artistic career after studying theater. She drew attention with her role as Nadine in the TV series 'Kaeno Embareh' (Like it was Yesterday). Her other TV credits include "Mawaed Ma El Mady", "Matam El Habayeb", "Hadha Almasa", "Ladina Aqwal Okhra", "Valentino", 'Kaeno Embareh', "Bimbo", and "Tahqiq". She is also best known for her roles in films 'Banat Sanawy', 'Ra's El Sana', "Farq Khebra", "Dido", "Kira We El Gin", "Amohom", "Hazak Al Youm", and "Bahebek".
