King's Foundation commends former Extinction Rebellion activist
A film-maker who was arrested during an Extinction Rebellion protest six years ago has been included in a list of 35 'changemakers' under the age of 35 by the King's Foundation.
Jack Harries, who has 3.5 million YouTube followers, was arrested in 2019 after gluing his hands to the door of a hotel at an international petroleum conference in London. At the time he told the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire that it had been worth it to raise awareness for the cause.
He was later acquitted of criminal damage and aggravated trespass.
