Man suffers breathing difficulty in Penampang house fire

The semi-permanent house was 30 per cent destroyed in the blaze, which was brought under control by 9.38am. Firefighters from Penampang and Kota Kinabalu stations responded swiftly after receiving the emergency call at 9.17am. They used one hose line with two nozzles connected to a 200-foot hose, drawing water from the fire engine and nearby hydrant. The victim received initial treatment from the Fire and Rescue Emergency Medical Response team at the scene.
