Maha: Talathi in Raigad trapped in ACB net

Kolhapur / Raigad, May 7 (UNI) Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Wednesday arrested a talathi of Roha tehsil in Raigad district while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a complainant.
Accused Firoz Ilahi Mujawar, who was working as talathi in Roha tehsil of Raigad district, had demanded Rs 15,000 as bribe for renewal of his 7/12 certificate of land record.
Complainant had already paid Rs 5,000 as an advance and then informed ACB office, whose team laid a trap at Roha and caught red-handed Mujawar while accepting the remaining bribe amount of Rs 10,000 from complainant, a press release issued by ACB said here.
