Brittney Griner Sends Strong Message to Wife Cherelle Griner
On Mother's Day, Atlanta Dream center Brittney Griner was among the WNBA stars to take to social media. Brittney posted a heartfelt message to wife Cherelle Griner, celebrating the couple's son Bash, who was born on July 8, 2024. According to US Weekly, Brittney and Cherelle got married in June 2019. It has been a season of change as Brittney left the Phoenix Mercury to sign with the Dream during the 2025 offseason. Advertisement With the WNBA season fast approaching, Brittney took to Instagram to give Cherelle a shoutout. "I'm so lucky to have you in my life forever," Brittney said at the time, per US Magazine. "You never gave up on me even when I gave up on myself. "You have pull me from the ashes and held me up when I couldn't stand. You really are my backbone and my spirit that keeps me going. I love you baby." On Tuesday, March 18, the proud mom shared a pair of family photos, where she posed with two of the most important people in her life. She stood beaming next to husband, as he held their baby daughter. "First birthday as a mama and I truly couldn't be happier or imagine it being any more special," Collins wrote in her caption.
