Tycroes RFC awards night to celebrate successful season
The club, which secured the WRU Admiral Men's National League West Champions title, celebrated its achievements at their club headquarters.
They lost only one league game all season and reached the semi-finals of the National League 3 Cup.
The Con Mathias Shield for Commitment and Dedication to the Club was awarded to Club President Malcolm Davies.
Other notable winners included Sam Newman as Second Team Top Try Scorer, Dan Thomas as First Team Top Try Scorer, and Dylan Rees, who won both the First Team Supporters Player of the Year and Players Player of the Year awards.
Poignantly, the club took time to remember former player and first team captain Stephen Roach, who passed away in May 2024.
This year's champions promotion was dedicated to him.

The club also honoured its backroom staff, including catering, bar, grounds, first aid, and physio teams.
President Malcolm Davies and Chairman Meirion Powell received WRU certificates marking their outstanding contribution to community rugby from Faye Davies, WRU Club Development Officer for West and North Wales.
The evening concluded with musical entertainment from Danielle Lowri.
