Kelvin Momo clarifies disappointing his fans as he missed three gigs
Amapiano superstar Kelvin Momo has shed light on his absence at three gigs he was booked for at the weekend.
Kelvin Momo, real name Thato Ledwaba, is a beloved Amapiano artist known for smashing songs such as Ivy League, Izono, Fool Me and many others from his musical catalogue.
It is understood that he missed three gigs this past weekend, and had fans doubting that he would be able to perform at the 2025 Red Bull Symphonic Orchestra.
A statement Momo's team issued earlier this week reads: 'We want to extend our sincerest apologies for missing our scheduled performances at Cafe 69, Piano Hub and Makubenjalo. Due to unforeseen health issues, our artist, Kelvin Momo, fell ill, forcing us to cancel these highly anticipated gigs. We understand the excitement and anticipation surrounding these events and are deeply sorry for any disappointment this may have caused. The wellbeing of our team is paramount, and we had no choice but to prioritise Kelvin's health and recovery.'
