Zine Fest - March 1-2The D.I.Y. publishing community comes together at the Broad Museum for this 12th gathering highlighting diverse voices via small presses, independent booksellers, artists and writers. AWARDS Recognizing the best in film, the 97th Academy Awards — held at the Dolby Theatre and airing on ABC at 3:30 p.m. — is watched just as much for its dazzling fashion and lively production. STREAMINGAfter his hit Netflix Is a Joke Fest show, 'Everybody's in LA,' the comic is back on the streamer every Wednesday hosting this live-streamed chat — featuring his funny pals and other in the artist's migration from the Philippines to America, this David Kordansky Gallery exhibit explores colonization, displacement and assimilation via oil paint, cardstock cutouts and Irish Arts Center L.A.'s sixth annual celebration at Laemmle's Monica Film Center, timed to St. Patrick's Day, showcases contemporary Irish filmmakers through screenings of films in English and Irish (Gaelic). FILM Disney's live-action take on the fairy tale stars Rachel Zegler as Snow White and Gal Gadot as the evil queen. Marc Webb directs the film from a screeplay by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson. TV Along with panels that unite the casts of the biggest shows on TV, The Paley Center for Media's festival features previews and premieres. This year's event at the Dolby Theatre highlights hits such as Apple TV+'s Severance, Netflix's Cobra Kai and the work of Amy Sherman-Palladino. AWARDS The 36th celebration of LGBTQ+ activism and representation in the media at the Beverly Hilton will honor nominees from shows and films like Wicked, Hacks and Baby Reindeer. SPORTS As the 2025 Major League Baseball (MLB) season begins, our champion team plays its first home games at Dodger Stadium against the Detroit Tigers. Three games will include a World Series ring ceremony and an Orel Hershiser jersey giveaway. CONVENTION At this festival from the team behind San Diego Comic-Con, exhibitors like Funko, Bandai Namco Toys, Toddland and other brands will drop new items and collectables at the Anaheim Convention Center, where cosplay is at it's most audacious.
