In a 2022 interview with Forbes Power Women Summit, Blake Lively revealed that she wants her children to be 'proud' of what she does for a living. She stated that having children changed her life, and further described that motherhood has helped her to be more authentic to herself and to be confident. 'Not to say that there aren't a bevvy of insecurities coming at me a million times a day, but I just feel incredibly settled,' she added.
After having kids, Lively realised that her time was much more 'precious,' and that she wouldn't give her heart out to the projects that didn't give he the 'authorship' as an actress. Prioritising the family, Blake said that her family is the 'root' of everything she did or created.

. Additionally, the $250 million lawsuit against the New York Times has also been dismissed by the court, after Baldoni accused the media outlet of conducting a smear campaign against him.
In the official statement, Blake Lively spoke about facing emotional turmoil over the past year. 'Last week, I stood proudly alongside 19 organisations united in defending women's rights to speak up for their safety,' she wrote on her Instagram story. 'Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us,' she continued, and further added the resources of incredible organisations who would stand for women's dignity and voice.
