Eutelsat Inks Deal to Supply French Military Satellite Coverage
French satellite operator Eutelsat SA struck a 10-year deal with the French government on Wednesday to provide connectivity to the country's military.
The services will include giving the French Armed Forces priority access to its OneWeb low-earth orbit constellation over the course of the agreement, which is valued at as much as €1 billion, the company said. The agreement also includes operational and security maintenance and upgrading and securing the constellation for military-grade use.
