TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — One person was arrested and two are still on the run after a traffic stop on I-4, the Florida Highway Patrol announced. A 28-year-old in a 1998 Ford Van was stopped on eastbound I-4 for a traffic violation when one person ran southbound from the interstate and two others ran northbound from the interstate, FHP said. Six people were detained at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was arrested after being found in the outside shed of a woman's home in the 7000 block of Taylor Road. FHP said the driver of the vehicle will be transported to Orient Road Jail and charged with resisting arrest and burglary of a structure. Two suspects are still at large. WOODSTOCK, Ill. (WTVO) — A 19-year-old Belvidere woman is in critical condition after police say she caused a three-car crash in rural Woodstock on Tuesday. According to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, the woman was driving a 2000 Ford Van eastbound in the 15200 block of Kishwaukee Valley Road around 4:18 p.m. when she failed to stop for a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox that was waiting to make a left turn into a driveway. Authorities said after smashing into the Equinox, the Ford continued into the westbound lane and struck a 2019 Honda CRV head-on. The Belvidere woman was airlifted to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Her 22-year-old passenger was taken to Northwestern Medical Huntley Hospital and is listed in good condition. The 62-year-old female driver of the Chevrolet was not injured, police said. The 37-year-old male driver of the Honda was taken to Northwestern Medical Huntley Hospital and is listed in good condition. The McHenry County Sheriff's Office said the crash is still ongoing. MCHENRY COUNTY, Ill. — Three people were hospitalized on Tuesday afternoon after a crash involving three vehicles in McHenry County. According to officials from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, the three-car crash unfolded around 4 p.m. in the 15200 block of Kishwaukee Valley Road in unincorporated Woodstock. Read more: Latest Chicago news and headlines Deputies said a preliminary investigation indicated that a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox, which was being driven by a 62-year-old woman, was stopped in the eastbound lane as the driver waited to make a left turn into a driveway. As the Chevrolet driver waited, a 2000 Ford Van which was being driven by a 19-year-old woman, failed to stop in time and struck the back left side of the Chevrolet. The Ford then drove into the westbound lane and struck a 2019 Honda CRV head-on. Following the crash, the 19-year-old driver of the Ford was airlifted to a hospital in Libertyville where she was listed in critical condition. A 22-year-old man, who was a passenger in the Ford, was also injured and was taken to the hospital in good condition. LATEST CASES: Missing people in Chicagoland The 37-year-old driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital in good condition and the 62-year-old driver of the Chevrolet was not injured in the crash. LONG SPUR, Fla. (WFLA) — A crash Wednesday overturned a Range Rover before colliding with air conditioning units at an apartment, the Florida Highway Patrol announced. A Land Rover Range Rover driven by a 78-year-old Odessa woman was traveling westbound on a private drive approaching Gunn Highway when the vehicle did not stop and continued across Gunn Highway. The Range Rover crashed into a Ford Van, driven by a 21-year-old Tampa woman who was traveling southbound on Gunn Highway, according to FHP. 84-year-old pickup driver runs over beachgoer's head in Daytona Beach After the crash, the van stopped on the roadway, but the Range Rover struck a rock wall and tree, causing the car to rotate and overturn. The Range Rover then collided with apartment air conditioning units at 1470 Long Spur, troopers said. Both drivers suffered minor injuries from the crash and were transported to a nearby hospital.
