Police are seeking at least three people involved in two jewelry store thefts in Fort McMurray that took place during the early hours of June 24, 2025. (Supplied) Police are seeking multiple people that were involved in two jewelry store thefts in Fort McMurray that resulted in a $400,000 loss. Shortly after 4 a.m. on Tuesday, RCMP responded to an attempted break-and-enter at Canadian Jewelers in downtown Fort McMurray. The business owner was alerted to loud noises and found two people attempting to break into the store. At 4:20 a.m., individuals broke through the exterior glass doors of the mall and proceeded to steal an undisclosed amount of jewelry. Police say the total estimated loss is around $400,000.
