The Exact Time ‘Fortnite' Chapter 6, Season 2 Ends And Season 3 Begins

Fortnite is about to go all-in with a new Star Wars season, Galactic Battle, featuring some of the remaining characters from the series with most of the heavy-hitters in the game already.
So, what time does Fortnite Chapter 6 season 2 end and season 3 begin? Here's the breakdown:
Fortnite Chapter 6 season 2 will end when downtime begins on Friday, May 2 at 2 AM EDT, which is the release date for season 3.
Then, we know that downtime takes usually between 3-5 hours or so, which gives us a time window for regions as it comes online. So those season 3 release times would be Friday, May 2 at:
At least in the US, that means the season will be live when you wake up early on May 2 if you want to hop into season 3 right away. Forget school and work, right?
This will be Disney's second full takeover season after a Marvel one they've done previously. But obviously dozens of the companies superhero and Star Wars skins and accessories have made their way to the game outside of those.
As we've said, the heaviest hitters have been in the game awhile. Han, Luke, Leia, Vader. Anakin, Padme, Maul. Rey, Finn and Kylo Ren from the new movies. The Mandalorian, Grogu and Ahsoka from shows. So, who does that leave?

Among the skins we will see in season 3, Galactic Battle, will be Emperor Palpatine, Jar Jar Binks, Poe Dameron, General Grievous, Captain Phasma and Mace Windu. There may also be customizable Mandalorian armor and maybe even custom lightsabers.
Of course, that's not all. X-Wing and TIE Fighter vehicles. Loot-filled Sandcrawlers, a Mos Eisley POI. The season is also broken up into 'episode' chapters including attacks by Star Destroyers and maybe even the looming Death Star itself. You want a new map? That's how you get a new map.
I expect this to be a pretty popular season as Disney and Epic go all-in on Star Wars this time around, despite so many characters featured previously. I might have done this season as a way to introduce the big characters originally, but here we are now. See you tomorrow.
