Man in critical condition following ATV crash near Brian Head
IRON COUNTY, Utah () — A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition following a crash near Brian Head this weekend.
Deputies first responded to the Dry Lakes area near Brian Head after reports of an ATV crash late Friday night. The Iron County Sheriff's Office said when emergency personnel arrived on the scene, they found an adult male who had crashed while riding on a four-wheeler, sustaining significant head injuries.
The preliminary investigation found that the ATV had been traveling at a high speed when it veered off the road and hit a rock.
Life Flight was called to the scene due to the severity of the man's injuries. The man was airlifted to a local hospital, where police said he is currently in critical condition.
