Misfits Boxing 21 fight card including Till vs Stewart and Virgo vs Mitchell
Darren Till will be looking to pick up his second win under the Misfits banner on Friday night when he takes on former UFC contender Darren Stewart Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till is set to make his second walk to the boxing ring this week against Darren Stewart. After officially leaving the UFC in 2023, Till was keen to test his luck in the world of boxing. The Liverpudlian defeated Mohammad Mutie on his debut in an exhibition bout last July, but was handed a tough test in Anthony Taylor earlier this year. His Misfits debut was supposed to be against Tommy Fury, but 'TNT' pulled out after his rival threatened to kick him in the head during the fight. Eventually, Till made easy work of Taylor and is now back in the ring. As for Stewart, the former UFC middleweight and light-heavyweight contender announced his retirement from MMA last year following a defeat to Carlos Pereira. The 34-year-old has no professional boxing experience - but is adamant he can score a monumental upset in Derby. And so, here's everything you need to know about the full card... Darren Till vs Darren Stewart Fresh off of his victory over Anthony Taylor back in January, Till is back in action later this week as his quest to takeover Misfits continues when he goes head-to-head with former MMA fighter Darren Stewart - who will be making his professional boxing debut. A win for Till on fight night will no doubt earn the 'Gorilla' a blockbuster showdown next as he seemingly has unfinished business with rival Tommy Fury. Idris Virgo vs Ty Mitchell Originally, the highly-anticipated showdown between Idris Virgo and Ty Mitchell was expected to headline the card before being bumped down to the co-main event spot. That said, this fight could steal the 'Fight of the Night' award as the pair clash for the light-heavyweight championship. Virgo comes into the showdown off the back of a convincing win over Benson Henderson, while Ty Mitchell scored an impressive knockout victory on his professional debut against Tommy Hench back in January. Chase DeMoor vs Tank Tolman After losing four of his first five fight, Chase DeMoor has well and truly got his career back on track. The heavyweight star has emerged as a real sensation over the last few years and is currently the Misfits heavyweight champion. The American comes into the clash off the back of a knockout win over Israel Troles. However, Tank Tolman is a man on a mission and is eager to shock the world and dethrone the champion on fight night. Walid Sharks v Fox the G Walid Sharks got back to winning ways in his last outing against Jaheem Rosa after suffering his second defeat to Deen TheGreat in 2023. That said, 'The Killer' faces yet another tough night at the office this week in FoxTheG. Real name Fox Townley, the young Brit has caught the eye of many since his debut in 2023. With four of his five wins coming by way of knockout, Townley will be itching to pick up the biggest win of his career to date on one of the biggest cards in the history of Misfits. Jordan Banjo v Wil Anderson Love Island star Wil Anderson will battle it out with Britain's Got Talent legend Jordan Banjo in a blockbuster Misfits light-heavyweight showdown. The match-up shocked many but Banjo, 32, has been training hard over the last few months, posting from sweaty training sessions at his London gym on Instagram. Anderson has some experience in Muay Thai - but will be hoping to transfer some of those striking skills into the ring against Banjo. Joey Knight v Andy Howson Joey Knight returns to action on Friday night as he looks to get back in the win column. After winning his first two bouts, Knight was convincingly beaten by Misfits star Lil Cracra in his last fight back in September. Standing across the ring from him is none other than Andy Howson - who will be making his boxing debut against the lightweight star. Wakey Wines v Mo Deen Mohammad Azar Nazir - who became famous online for his "Abdul come closer, Abdul go back" catchphrase on Tik Tok - is famous for running the off-licence in Wakefield known as "Wakey Wines." However, he's swapping the tills for the boxing ring this week when he takes on Mo Deen in a bid to settle their long-time feud. Deen does have some slight experience under the influencer boxing banner, but will be looking to pick up his first win against his rival in Derby. Tempo Arts vs Big Tobz vs Godson vs Curtis Pritchard Former Love Island star Curtis Pritchard will be making his professional boxing debut this week - but there is a slight twist. The upcoming heavyweight showdown is a totally new tag team format that might take some boxing fans some getting used to. Four fighters, Big Tobz, Pritchard, Godson Umeh, and Tempo Arts will all battle it out over five, three-minute rounds. Each boxer has two tap outs that they can use whenever, but will be docked a point on the second tap. After the first three rounds, one fighter will be eliminated, then another will go after round four leaving just two to battle it out in the final three minutes. Amir Anderson vs TBC Amir Anderson looks set to make his highly-anticipated return to the ring this week. The American star made his boxing debut last August, knocking out Kijonti Davis in the third round before returning on the historic AnEsonGib vs Slim Albaher in November. On that night, the middleweight contender needed just a few minutes to brutally topped Neeraj. With the youngster set to return in Derby, Anderson will be itching to score his third consecutive knockout in the ring. Dylan Price v TBC Rising star - and WBC silver super bantamweight title holder - Dylan Price excited many when he officially put pen-to-paper on a lucrative deal with the famous boxing promotion last October. The American was last seen in action back in October when he scored a vicious knockout victory over Jose Saant.
