Ga. teen arrested for alleged ‘terroristic threats' against high school
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ga. (WSPA) – A 14-year-old was arrested Thursday for allegedly threatening Franklin County High School.
Details regarding the threat the student allegedly made against the school were not shared by deputies.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, high school administrators and the county's school resource officer quickly handled the situation.
Officials said the teen was taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
'No students were ever in danger,' the sheriff's office said.
The student has been charged with one count of Terroristic Threats and Acts — a felony in the state of Georgia.
