Franklin police investigating armed robbery in Cool Springs
FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — Franklin police are investigating an armed robbery in Cool Springs. Police said the armed robbery happened just before 8:30 p.m. at a fast food restaurant on Galleria Boulevard. They said the suspect who entered the business was described as 'a heavyset male wearing a colorful shaw and possible ski mask.' The suspect was seen leaving in a white Kia Soul with duct tape covering what police said 'appears to be a Tennessee license plate.' 3 seriously injured in multi-vehicle crash in Franklin
Three people were seriously injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Franklin on Saturday evening. According to Franklin police, around 6:22 pm, officers received multiple 911 calls reporting a serious motor vehicle crash in the area of 76 Grove Street. Upon arrival, officers found that two vehicles had crashed with serious injuries and entrapment. Three victims were transported to area hospitals, two by ambulance and one by helicopter. They are in serious condition, police say. The crash is under investigation by Franklin Police with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Collision and Reconstruction Section and the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office. Synagogue vandalized, swastika found painted on sidewalk in Norfolk County town, police say
Authorities are investigating after at least two anti-Semitic vandalism incidents in a Norfolk County town. Franklin Police say they were notified a sign at the Temple Etz Chaim on Washington Street had been vandalized sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and 8 a.m. the Wednesday. Red paint had been smeared on a small 'We Stand With Israel' yard sign, as well as a light and solar panel which illuminated the temple's sign, according to police. The solar panel was also reportedly torn from its mounting bracket. Law enforcement was notified of a second vandalism incident near the sidewalk of 43 East Central Street, where officials say a swastika symbol was painted with black spray paint on the ground. Police believe it occurred between 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 6 a.m. on Wednesday. Authorities say there is no evidence to suggest the incidents are related, although they're not totally ruling it out. Police: Man wanted in Franklin for gun charges, eluding police
FRANKLIN, Va. (WAVY) – A man is wanted for fleeing the scene of a shooting incident in the Main Street area of Franklin. On Saturday morning, March 29, Franklin police responded to a report of shots fired in the Main Street area just before 1 a.m. Officers obtained a description of a vehicle and suspect and proceeded to search the area. Officers located the vehicle and suspect, identified as Jerry Williams. While being questioned by police, Williams fled the scene in his vehicle, striking another vehicle on Edwards Street. After the crash, Williams took off on foot, police said. Williams is wanted on charges of attempted malicious bodily injury to a law enforcement officer, possession of a firearm after being convicted of a felony and eluding police. Williams is to be considered armed and dangerous. Police describe Williams as a Black male resident of the City of Franklin. Williams is approximately five-feet-five-inches in height, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
