Wisconsin woman arrested for hitting police squad car with metal baseball bat
MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A 36-year-old Wisconsin woman was arrested on Thursday night after she hit a police squad car with a metal baseball bat and threatened an officer with it.
According to the Madison Police Department, an officer was on Fisher Street around 8 p.m. following up on another case, and a woman with a metal bat charged at the officer screaming.

36-year-old Shelia Freaner of Madison then busted a spotlight on a police squad car with the bat, and the officer slowly backed up to put space between him and the Freaner.
Freaner then reportedly ran towards a neighbor's house and shattered a window with the bat. Officers safely took her into custody.

Freaner was arrested for criminal property damage, threatening law enforcement, as well as disorderly conduct and resisting.
