Bonnie Blue 'arrest' debunked from witness clue to glaring 'police car' error
Adult entertainer Bonnie Blue sparked a social media backlash when her Instagram account posted a short clip of her being patted down by police officers - but was it what is seemed? Bonnie Blue's apparent arrest has been debunked as nothing more than another publicity stunt to get more views, multiple commenters have claimed. The 26-year-old OnlyFans star, whose real name is Tia Billinger, was seen being patted down by a female police officer in a video released late on Wednesday evening. She's shown with her back to the camera, her hands placed on the bonnet of a police car with blue lights blaring, standing next to a male companion as the officer searches her over her clothes. A male officer tells the pair to "stop talking to each other for a minute while we work this out, OK?" before asking her what she's doing there. The short clip was shared to Bonnie's Instagram, apparently by her sister, who captioned it: "As you may have seen, Tia has been arrested. We still don't have clarity on the situation but will keep you all in the loop as soon as we know. "Thanks for all of the support in the last 24 hours. This isn't something we wanted to get out but it seems there is no privacy for her anymore. Your's sincerely Tia's Sister." The hashtag #FreeBonnieBlue started trending on social media as a result, with fans calling for her to be released. And at first glance, the footage does appear to show Bonnie being patted down by real police officers. But there are several giveaway signs that the entire scene has been faked for views. Firstly, eagle-eyed viewers spotted the registration plate on the police car - RO23 HRM - matches one belonging to a vehicle owned by Police Car Hire UK, which rents out emergency service vehicles to the TV and film industry. The Toyota Corolla in the footage is the same one that appears on the company's Instagram account. Secondly, the officers in the clip don't appear to have real badge numbers on their shoulder pads. Police Car Hire UK's website also offers a range of emergency services uniforms, including cops, and says it also specialises in procuring "talented individuals" to act in roles involving police. "We proudly offer a diverse range of talented individuals, including police supporting artists, ambulance staff, detectives, undercover agents, officers, firefighters, judges, and barristers," the company adds. "Whether you need uniformed or non-uniformed roles, we'll work closely with you to understand your specific requirements and provide the perfect artists for your project." And finally, an eyewitness claims to have seen Bonnie Blue setting up the scene on an industrial estate in Surrey. "It was all a staged setup. She was seen doing poses leaning against the police car," said the commenter underneath the video post. When asked how they knew, the commenter added: "Because I was picking a friend up from work next to where they were filming it. They had told my friend it's just some filming as he had to walk past and asked if it was ok to do so, and I saw her posing for pictures at the back of the police car with its lights on." It's far from the first stunt Bonnie has pulled. Back in February 2025 she insinuated she was pregnant after claiming to have bedded 1,057 men in 12 hours. After discussing her unusual food cravings - chicken, dry noodles and pickles coated in chocolate - Bonnie joked that she would be hosting "the world's biggest livestream of a birth" in eight months' time. But when she was called out for pretending to be expecting a baby, Bonnie shot back by claiming she had never explicitly said she was pregnant. "So, the last 24 hours, I've hinted at being pregnant," she admitted in a separate video, adding that she "would never ever lie about pregnancy". When she was asked why not, she revealed: "I tried to get pregnant for like a long amount of time, and it was honestly like the most lonely experience. "You don't really tell your family and friends. It's not something like that's spoken about much," she added. "So, if I was to have seen someone joking about pregnancy, I wouldn't have seen the funny side of it. The adult star then revealed she had made the whole thing up to raise money for a stranger's IVF treatment. "IVF is expensive and even buying pregnancy tests - at the time, I was living in Australia - living off savings," she said, adding that in future she would "do better".

Bonnie Blue reportedly arrested as fans launch #FreeBonnieBlue campaign
Adult content creator Bonnie Blue has reportedly been arrested, according to viral footage circulating online and a statement from her family. The British-born star, whose real name is Tia Billinger, was seen being detained by several police officers in a video briefly posted to her official Instagram account before being removed. In the video, Blue appears with her hands against a police vehicle while surrounded by officers and an unidentified man. While no official confirmation or charges have been released by authorities, the footage has sparked widespread speculation and concern. Blue's sister later shared a statement via social media, writing, 'As you may have seen, Tia has been arrested. We still don't have clarity on the situation but will keep you all in the loop as soon as we know. Thanks for all of the support in the last 24 hours.' Following the video, the hashtag #FreeBonnieBlue quickly trended on platforms like X (formerly Twitter), with fans expressing support and curiosity. While many fans sent messages of encouragement, some questioned whether the incident was real or part of a publicity stunt. Bonnie Blue, 25, has frequently made headlines for her controversial content and outspoken public persona. She recently claimed to earn over £2 million per month from her subscription-based content and expressed goals of reaching £10 million by 2025. As of now, no further details about the alleged arrest have been made public, and her representatives have not issued a formal statement.
